Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth completely reimagines the post-Midgar section of the 1997 original, following Cloud and his party as they head into the open world for the first time. However, this time around, our beloved characters are on a new timeline after the events of Remake.
But, while the sequel changes plenty of elements, a number of iconic features that fans will remember make a comeback. This includes Summons, powerful god-like entities that can be used in fights to completely change your fortunes.

There are 13 different Summons in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, some of which can earned by completing Chadley Combat Simulator challenges, while others are save transfer rewards from Remake. The Combat Simulator fights pit you against the Summon to win its Materia, with new battles unlocked once you reach different regions.
As you reach the tougher battles that await in the late-game, you’ll want as many of these Materia in your arsenal as possible. So, here’s how to get every Summon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth:

How to beat Summons in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Visiting all three Divine Intel locations in a region is the best way to beat Summon battles in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Chadley’s Combat Simulator comes with different for each battle, but you’ll need to find each Divine Intel spot for that Summon’s region to unlock the easier ones.
While this won’t make them a total breeze, it will at least make them less powerful to improve your chances of victory and adding their Materia to your collection.
