Firebase Z Cold War Zombies map unplayable for many Xbox players
Several Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players are unable to play the new Firebase Z Zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War due to errors.
The latest patch update for Black Ops Cold War went live on February 4 with the brand new Firebase Z zombies map experience. Firebase Z is the first post launch Zombies map for Cold War.
Upon completing the installation of the new patch update, some Xbox players are unable to access Firebase Z. Players are being met with a “Downloadable content install” required alert when attempting to access Firebase Z playlists.
Xbox players are sharing images of their download list with Zombies listed as installed, while some are stuck on partially installed with no other options to download more packs.
Treyarch has yet to acknowledge the issue for Xbox players. It’s not mentioned on the Support Channels or on their Trello board, as of now.
A potential fix might be reinstalling the Zombies Content data pack or completely reinstalling the entire game onto your console to play.
