The first images of Treyarch’s next Call of Duty game, which is set for a 2024 release, has leaked online after data miners found content in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile’s closed alpha files.

RealiityUK, a Call of Duty data miner, got access to the Warzone Mobile Project Aurora’s closed alpha and went through the game’s files to find a variety of upcoming unannounced Call of Duty content.

Earlier, he leaked images of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer maps, including loading screens of the game’s Ground War maps.

Now, RealiityUK also found images of Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 game.

The leaker has posted images of two MP maps that are part of Treyarch’s next Call of Duty game. The images appear to be concept art for the maps, as the game is still in early development.

First image shared by the leaker showcases the map ‘Stealth,’ which is a codename for the map. It appears to be taking place off of a USA military base in an unknown location.

The second image posted is for a map titled ‘Pillage.’ Just a few aspects of this map can be seen in the leaked image.

It’s not clear as to why Warzone Mobile’s closed alpha contains files for unreleased content, including for a game that is still two years away.

While Activision has not officially confirmed it yet, Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Treyarch’s next premium Call of Duty game will release in 2024, making 2023 a off year for a major new premium Call of Duty title.

A delay on the game to 2024 will give Treyarch four years of development time with their last premium title being Black Ops Cold War in 2020. Treyarch has supported Vanguard’s development on Zombies and Ranked Play and is credited with supporting the development of Modern Warfare 2, although the extent to their work on the title is not clear.

This will result in 2022 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 potentially having two years of post launch support.

Details on what Call of Duty 2024 is are still scarce, with some rumors claiming it will be set in the ‘near future’ and keep boots on the ground.

Be sure to stay tuned for any news or updates on Treyarch’s next Call of Duty title.
