Damage flinch redesigned to not affect aim in Black Ops Cold War
Treyarch’s Tony Flame has confirmed on Twitter that there are changes to the Flinch system in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
In a tweet, Flame says that the system has been redone to not affect your aim while you take damage.
It is now more so a feedback mechanism to help understand damage “without affecting the aim position of your weapon.”
He says that “Your weapon will move with your screen to stay on target. No more flinch headshots.”
Some content creators, including ourselves, part of the Alpha noticed there was changes to how Flinch works especially when aiming for headshots. Now, with this system, the feedback of getting hit exists but your aim is not being affected by it.
This is a big change overall for Black Ops Cold War.
