A forgotten Warzone shotgun is once again terrorizing players as it makes a triumphant return to the battle royale following the Season 2 Reloaded update.

Warzone shotguns have left their mark on the meta as controversial weapons. From time to time we’ll see shotguns absolutely dominate Warzone and spark up countless player complaints.

At their peak, shotguns tend to feel overpowered because of their highly specialized performance in close quarters. If used correctly, shotguns can be devastating and one in particular has made a return after the Season 2 Reloaded update increased players’ health.

Streetsweeper shotgun Warzone

Most Warzone players will have memories of the Streetsweeper Shotgun. They might not be fond memories, but it’s difficult to forget the impact this weapon had on the battle royale in its heyday.

Although Caldera and Rebirth Island have both undergone some drastic changes following the Season 2 Reloaded update, there are still plenty of tight spaces where a Streetsweeper will truly excel and give you the upper hand in a gunfight.

  • Barrel: 13.3″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Laser: SOF Target Designator
  • Stock: Wire Stock
  • Magazine: STANAG 18 RND

Warzone content creator Metaphor has put together a Streetsweeper loadout that Warzone players absolutely need to try.

The Warzone expert explains why the Streetsweeper feels amazing after the health increase, “The shotguns are not okay – it feels like it’s doing the same damage as before [the health increase] but it’s just harder to die.”

Metaphor also suggests exploiting the Stim slide maneuver with the Streetsweeper, as the combination will catch players off guard. Restock will also help players recover Stims faster, although they were excluded from the Restock buff.

With attachments like the 13.3″ Reinforced Heavy and Agency Choke, the emphasis is on boosting damage range and hip-fire accuracy. Meanwhile, the Wire Stock will make sure you get your shots off first in a gunfight by improving sprint to fire time.
