There is plenty of excitement in the Fortnite community, with the end of Season 7 and the start of Season 8 getting closer every single day.

With the August 31 patch, Fortnite’s devs have introduced the Island Games, a special Creative Event filled with XP rewards to help you with your Battle Pass. To find out more and see all the changes, check out the full 17.50 patch notes below.

Fortnite Island Games

The season is nearly over, but the fun doesn’t have to end just yet, with Epic introducing the Island Games, complete with major XP rewards and some cool cosmetic items.

This special Creative event tasks players with taking part in a number of different game modes like Red vs Blue Rumble, Prison Breakout, Finest 2v2, and more, with huge rewards up for grabs. Most challenges are giving out 20,000 or 30,000 XP, perfect to help you level up your Battle Pass to Tier 100.

Completing five of these tasks will earn you a spray, seven will unlock the Wavebreaker wrap, and nine will give you the cool Qwerky Axe.

Fortnite Crew Legacy Set

A new month means a new Fortnite Crew set, with the September offering titled ‘Legacy.’ This month doesn’t see any major crossovers inside the Crew pack, but it’s still one of the coolest we’ve seen so far.

That’s because this month’s pack is fully customizable, with players able to choose the color combination they want to rock on their back. On top of that, both the back bling and pickaxe are progressive, which means the more kills you get, the better they look.

New Doja Cat emote

Doja Cat fans have will have another emote to add to their inventory, with a dance featuring her song ‘Kiss Me More’ added to the game.

The new Dahja Cat skin also comes with it’s own traversal emote, which shows the character playing hopscotch.

Fortnite 17.50 bug fixes

As always, Epic Games have been hard at work fixing a number of bugs that have been negatively affecting the game. While the devs don’t drop full patch notes themselves anymore, we know what’s being addressed thanks to their official Trello board.

Battle Royale Issues

  • Losing item functionality after swapping from Prop-ifier to Consumable.

Creative Issues

  • Adding the Skydome Device to the hotbar resets the island visually.
  • Players are ejected from vehicles in shallow water.
  • Android Players are unable to use color picker to change color.

Save The World Issues

  • SGT Tank Gatling’s perk Bouncy Shield is no longer triggering.
  • Inaccurate description of Goin’ Constructor in game.

Exotic weapons are some of the rarest items in Fortnite, so here’s how you can get your hands on them in Chapter 3, Season 1.

Exotic weapons are some of the most powerful weapons that can help you secure a Victory Royale, so here’s where you can find each of these rare items in Fortnite Chapter 3.

There is a wide selection of weapons to choose from in Fortnite, with the most powerful one being Exotic weapons. These first appeared in Chapter 2, Season 5, and they’re the rarest items in the game.

With all the brand-new changes in Chapter 3, it was unclear if Exotic weapons would still be available in the game. Fortunately, they’re still around, but their locations on the map have changed.

Here are all the Fortnite Chapter 3 Exotic weapon locations.

So far, there are only four Exotic weapons available in Fortnite Chapter 3, but more might arrive as the season progresses. You can purchase these from NPCs for the right amount of Gold Bars.

All of these Exotic weapons have distinct attributes and using them can help you secure a Victory Royale. We’ll go over their locations on the map, along with the costs, and NPCs that you need to visit.

Boom Sniper Rifle

The gun is similar to the Heavy Sniper Rifle, with the biggest difference being that your targets will take 10 contact damage from the clinger, and then the projectile will explode and deal 60 bonus damage to them.

You can get this Exotic Weapon from The Scientist NPC in exchange for 600 Gold Bars. You can find this character roaming around The Sanctuary so head over there to get the Boom Sniper Rifle.

The Dub

This Exotic, double-barreled beauty can dish out some serious damage to your opponents, and you can purchase it from Bunker Jonesy. This character is located near a trailer at the south side of The Joneses.

Purchasing this Exotic shotgun will cost you 600 Gold Bars. While the weapon has low range and a small magazine, it’s capable of annihilating your enemies in close combat, so it’s worth getting.

Chilli Chug Splash

The Chili Chug Splashes can be purchased from Guaco for 210 Gold Bars at Greasy Grove or collected from inside Loot Llamas. This Exotic Weapon can greatly benefit you and your teammates.

Hold down the fire button to aim where you want to throw it, and it will break open splashing nearby players. In addition to healing your teammates, it will also give them the ability to move faster.

Marksman Six Shooter

You can get your hands on the Marksman Six Shooter by purchasing it from the NPC Mancake for 400 Gold Bars. You can find this character inside the Butter Barn, southwest of Rocky Reels.

This “fast-firing sidearm” can dish out 24 damage-per-shot with a magazine size of six. While it doesn’t hold many bullets, the reload time of 2.1 seconds makes ensures that you have a more consistent fire rate.

How to get Fortnite’s new Pizza Party: Locations & what it does

Here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite’s Pizza Party item, including where to find it and what it does.

You can use Fortnite’s new Pizza Party item to share pizza slices with your teammates. Here’s where you can find Pizza Party and how you can use it in Fortnite Chapter 3.

There is a ton of fun to be had in Fortnite Chapter 3, whether by finding Klombo dinosaurs around the island or unlocking skins like the Hawkeye outfits. Now, you can also collect pizza in the game.

The Pizza Party item is another new addition that greatly benefits your entire squad. You’ll also need to know where to find it for a Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 Quest that requires you to ‘take pizza slices.’

Here’s everything you need to know about Pizza Party in Fortnite.

Where to find a Pizza Party in Fortnite

Tomatohead location on Fortnite map

You can purchase the new Pizza Party item from the NPC Tomatohead at the Pizza Pit restaurant. You can find this location at the Tilted Towers POI which has returned to Fortnite Island.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Head to the Pizza Pit restaurant
  2. Interact with Tomatohead to speak with him
  3. Select the Pizza Party item and purchase it
  4. Pizza Party will be added to your inventory

Purchasing the Pizza Party item will cost you 50 Gold Bars. If you don’t have this amount saved up already then you can check out our detailed guide on how to earn Gold Bars in Fortnite.

Alternatively, you can also collect a Pizza Party from Chests and Supply Drops or by destroying Loot Llamas. While this doesn’t guarantee that you’ll find the item right away, it’s certainly the cheaper option.

What does a Pizza Party do in Fortnite

Pizza Party in Fortnite

Fortnite’s Pizza Party item recovers your Health and Shield. You simply need to approach it and press the ‘consume’ button to use it. You can also save it in your inventory by pressing ‘take’ instead.

While pizza slices can restore 100 Health, they will only recover up to 50 Shield. So, if you’ve already recovered your Shield, you may want to leave some slices behind for your teammates to use.

One Chapter 3 Quest tasks you with taking a pizza slice from a Pizza Party. You can get this done by simply aiming and throwing a Pizza Party down to the ground similar to how you would toss a grenade.

Klombo dinosaur in Fortnite

You can also feed pizza slices to a Klombos dinosaur by throwing a Pizza Party near one of them. While Klomberries are their favorite food, they won’t mind eating the slices and leaving behind loot for you to collect.

That covers everything you need to know about Fortnite’s new Pizza Party item. It can greatly help your entire squad when your Health and Shields are low, so it’s worth going out to find the item.

Fortnite creative mode

Epic Games rolled out another Fortnite update on January 25 to fix a problem with the game’s creative mode, and here is the full list of the 3.44 update patch notes.

Fortnite Chapter 3 is well underway, and there is a ton of fun content to enjoy such as the Klombo Dinosaurs and Hawkeye outfits. However, there are also a few issues that the devs are attempting to fix.

Epic Games rolled out a new update on January 25. The latest patch went live across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. We have the Fortnite 3.44 update patch notes detailing the new changes.

Fortnite updates such as the recent 19.10 patch tend to bring a wide variety of bug fixes and changes to the game. However, the 3.44 patch makes a relatively minor change to the battle royale title.

The latest update only has a single patch note as it focuses on fixing one issue within the game’s Creative Mode. While most players won’t notice the difference, the fix is still greatly appreciated.

Support-A-Creator UI in Fortnite

There aren’t a lot of exciting changes in the 3.44 update patch as compared to the 19.10 update that brought back the fan-favorite Tilted Towers. However, Epic Games did fix one problem:

  • Fixed the issue with the Support-A-Creator UI missing from the pre-game lobby of some Creative islands.

The Support-A-Creator UI was missing from pre-game lobbies on a few Creative Islands. Now, the latest update has fixed this issue and players will be able to support their favorite content creators again.

This fix has gone live on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC, and Android. The developers reassured players that they’ll inform them when the update arrives on the Nintendo Switch version.

Hopefully, we’ll see a major update patch released in the new future. It could bring a plethora of exciting new content to the battle royale, including the highly-anticipated Green Goblin outfit and the return of lightsabers.
