The marquee addition of Fortnite update 21.40 is the collaboration with the popular anime Dragon Ball. Here’s everything you need to know about this Dragon Ball collab.

Dragon Ball skins hit Fortnite Item Shop

Four Dragon Ball skins have hit Fortnite’s Item Shop with the 21.40 update, bringing Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus as well as their associated cosmetics.

Fortnite players can go Super Saiyan and equip the alt styles with a built-in emote, and rock key Dragon Ball items such as the Power Pole (Nyoibo) Pickaxe and Back Bling, as well as the Nimbus Cloud Glider.

Dragon Ball Fortnite Quests and rewards

The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover is a true collaboration, featuring Quests for players to complete across Battle Royale and Creative.

On the Battle Pass-like Quest page, there are seven sets of challenges to complete. Each completed set grants a Dragon Ball and raises your Power Level, where you can unlock items such as the Dragon Radar Back Bling, Emotes, Sprays, and Battle Pass levels.

Getting your hands on all seven Dragon Balls will reward you with the Shenron Glider.

Versus Boards & Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud

Fortnite’s 21.40 update also brings new items to Battle Royale: Versus Boards and the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items.

Versus Boards have replaced Bounty Boards where once activated, an opponent will be marked on your map and you’ll be marked on theirs. You’ll then have five minutes to defeat your opponent.

The Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) are set to be powerful additions, allowing players to “wield the powers of Son Goku.” The Kamehameha allows players to “launch a devastating energy beam,” and the Nimbus Cloud grants the power of flight.

Bulma and Kame house arrives in Fortnite

There’s also a small map change with the 21.40 update, as Dragon Ball’s Kame house has arrived off the coast of the Season 3 island.

Head to Kame house and meet Bulma, where you can hand over Gold for some powerful items.
