Winterfest arrives in Fortnite 23.10
Fortnite Chapter 4’s 23.10 update has brought back the fan-favorite Winterfest event, bringing Holiday cheer and free rewards to Epic’s battle royale.
Throughout the Winterfest event, Fortnite players can open a new present each day, totaling 17 free rewards. These include the Arctic Adeline and Sled Ready Guff Outfits, as well as Gliders, Wraps, a Pickaxe, and more.
That’s not all though, as Fortnite players can also claim the free Guff Gringle Outfit by launching the game through the Epic Games launcher during Winterfest, and Fortnite Crew members get the Chill-la-la-Llama Backbling. Plus, playing with five different friends until before January 6, 2023, grants the Curling Iron Emote.
Fortnite 23.10 unvaults Snowball Launchers & Holiday Presents
Two classic Fortnite Winterfest items have been unvaulted in the 23.10 update — Snowball Launchers and Holiday Presents.
If you’ve never used them before, Snowball Launchers replace the Rocket Launcher in the loot pool and fire explosive snowballs. The Holiday Presents can be thrown down, and contain high-tier loot inside.
Plus, Sgt. Winter will be flying around the map dropping Holiday Presents at random, but, the devs recommend players “be careful not to get on his bad side…”
Fortnite 23.10 update buffs Reality Augments
With the 23.10 update, “Reality Augments that your teammates have unlocked now have a chance to appear in your own selections,” helping out Fortnite players who haven’t unlocked them all yet.
Super Level Styles return in Fortnite 23.10 update
For the grinders out there, Fortnite has added the Super Level Styles to the Bonus Rewards section of the Season 1 Battle Pass.
Progressing past Level 125 will allow players to unlock the “Elysian, Aeon, and Halcyon Styles for the Helsie, Selene, Ageless, Dusty, and Massai Outfits.”
