Ahead of the release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, leakers have claimed that Epic are planning another major crossover, this time with popular anime Attack on Titan.

Since its initial launch back in 2017, Fortnite has managed to keep its place as one of the most popular battle royale titles on the market. This is partly because the game has managed to consistently reinvent itself with new features, such as Reality Augments, but also the many high-profile collaborations it has pulled off.

Chapter 4 Season 1 alone has seen the likes of The Witcher’s Geralt and iconic Dragon Ball Super characters arrive on the island, as well as a concert from The Kid LAROI.

Now, with Chapter 4 Season 2 set to start on March 10, leakers have revealed that the new update will bring yet another anime to the game in the form of Attack on Titan.

According to well-known leakers HYPEX and Shiina, the Season 2 Battle Pass will include a secret skin for Eren Jaeger – the main protagonist of Attack on Titan. This will reportedly tie into the “futuristic / Neo-Tokyo” theme of the new Fortnite season.

The leakers didn’t go into specifics about how the Eren Jaeger Attack on Titan skin would look in-game, or if it will be his human form or Titan form. They also didn’t reveal if any other popular characters will join Erin, such as Levi or Mikasa.

As well as the skin, both also claimed a new Mythic item called the “Waist Grappler” will appear on the map, which could be inspired by the Omni-directional Mobility Gear used by the Scouts in the anime and manga.

Much like the Nimbus Cloud from the Dragon Ball crossover, these would be ideal for quickly traversing the map to avoid the storm or rotating into a better position.

Fans have been speculating that an Attack on Titan crossover could come to Fortnite for many years, but now does seem like the ideal time. Part 3 of The Final Season is set to begin airing on March 4, just a week before the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

It’s worth keeping in mind that this is all just speculation for the time being, and we won’t know for sure until the Battle Pass for the new season is revealed.

We’ll be sure to update this page with the latest announcements, as well as how to get the Attack on Titan Eren Jaeger skin once it arrives.
