Fortnite Black Hole likely to return ahead of Season 5

Fortnite Season 4 is expected to end with a large event, and data miners have found that there’s likely some downtime between seasons.

Fortnite Season 4 is set to end on December 1, and many fans are anticipating it to conclude with the return of the Black Hole.

We first saw the Black Hole at the end of Fortnite Chapter 1, when players stared at it for almost two days in an agonizing wait for Chapter 2 to begin.

In Season 4’s end event, players are gearing up to fight Galactus alongside their favorite Marvel heroes. Galactus will likely leave devastation in his wake.

The Black Hole itself might not return, but a massive event followed by downtime is expected to occur.

Expected downtime

The event that will end Season 4 is expected to be Fortnite’s biggest event yet. Fortnite has seen several in-game events such as the Star Wars teaser, Travis Scott concert, and ‘The End.’ The files for the next event are 10x bigger than those for ‘The End’ event, which was the largest event at its time.

While Season 4 will end on November 30, it’s possible that we won’t get to play Season 5 until December 3. Similar to the end of Chapter 1, there is a reported 36-hour downtime between the seasons. Several signs that point towards this downtime.

Fortnite Season 4 has hosted regular tournaments and competitive events. However, there are no events scheduled between December 1 at 4 PM EST (the time of the event) and December 3 at 4 AM EST (the presumed release time for Season 5).

Data miners have discovered that the Black Hole event files have reappeared in the game. Twitter account iFireMonkey reported that ‘RockyRidge’ has appeared in the game files, which is the same code used for the Black Hole Event.

After dropping a small spoiler-warning, data miners FNLeaksAndInfo announced there might be downtime after Season 4.

“Prepare for some more possible downtime after the event similar to the Black Hole event!,” they tweeted. “To be continued! In Season 5!”

It’s likely that the ‘to be continued’ text will appear after the Season 4 event concluded.

Other data miners are also reporting that there may be a 10-hour downtime, as opposed to the expected 36.

However long the downtime lasts, players can expect a massive event to end Fortnite Chapter 2’s fourth season.

Fortnite Season 7 live event countdown timer: start date & theme

A countdown timer has appeared in the world of Fortnite, and it looks to be counting down the moments until the Season 7 live event.

Fortnite Live Event Countdown Timer

Excitement is at an all-time high in the world of Fortnite regarding Season 7, as a countdown timer has appeared in the popular game and is counting down the moments until the next live event kicks off.

There are many things that have made Fortnite one of the most popular games in the world over the past couple of years, with one of the most important being the exciting live events that Epic Games has pulled off over the course of the game’s many seasons.

These live events have been everything from concerts to giant battles where millions of players have been able to experience the adrenaline-fueled action all at the same time.

While the end of Season 6 and the start of Season 7 did not see a live event occur, this does not look to be the case for the end of Season 7 and the start of Season 8, as a Fortnite live event countdown timer has officially appeared in the popular game.

This new Fortnite live event countdown timer appeared on July 27, 2021, with the release of the 17.21 update for the fan-favorite game brought exciting items like the new Plasma Cannon.

Players soon noticed this Fortnite live event countdown timer in the game’s sky when they were playing and in the lobby in between matches.

Based on the amount of time this timer began with when it first appeared, it looks as though the highly anticipated live event will occur on August 6, 2021, at 3 PM PST/ 5 PM CST/ 6 PM EST.

It is unknown exactly what will happen when this Fortnite live event countdown timer hits zero on August 6.

However, with this season’s theme being all about an alien invasion, the alien mothership that has been hanging around might likely be ready to make some noise and shake up the Fortnite world in a major way.

An Ariana Grande concert event has also been leaked to be taking place sometime this season, so there is a possibility that this time is counting down until this leaked event. Still, players will have to wait until it hits zero before we officially know or an announcement is made by Epic Games.
