Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 is drawing to a close and one of the highlights of a new season is the live event. Here’s everything we know about the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 Collision live event.

Fortnite is known for its incredible crossovers and live events as much as its gameplay. These events feature unique playlists that have players join to watch the event together, and they’re usually used to usher in the next season or Chapter.

Players were disappointed when Chapter 3’s first season didn’t include one of these live events, but the good news is that Chapter 3, Season 2 will feature a live finale to kick off Season 3.

What will be in the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 live event finale?

While Epic Games haven’t revealed many details about what will happen in this live event finale, the name implies that it involves The Collider doomsday device in the middle of the map.

We might see the device become active and start causing massive changes to the island. While all of this is happening, you and your teammates may have to battle the IO forces across the map.

A tweet from the Fortnite developers has teased the return of Mecha Team Leader from Chapter 1, Season 9, and it’s possible that they will help you bring down the Imagined Order.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 live event leaks

While we’re waiting for more details about the Collision live event finally to be officially revealed, data miners may have uncovered more information about the Chapter 3, Season 2 finale.

Leaker ‘FNBRintel’ discovered a ton of strings for the event, including a way for streamers to use DMCA-free music during it.

New skins for Paradigm and Jonesy have also been found in the patch notes, and Shiina believes they’ll have a part to play in the live event finale. They also leaked that there will be “multiple cosmetics available for the event.”

These skins were first leaked shortly after the arrival of the Fortnite 20.40 update patch, and we might finally see them make an appearance when the Collision live event finale goes live.

Fortnite Intel claimed in a tweet that once the event concludes, there will be “an extended downtime,” with a “waiting screen similar to previous events.” It has not been confirmed exactly how long the downtime will last.
