Halo Master Chief skin leaked for Fortnite

Some new leaks are hinting at the iconic Halo protagonist, Master Chief, joining Fortnite Season 5. Here’s what we know so far.

There is a plethora of new content in Fortnite Season 5 for you to explore. Now, some leaks are hinting at Master Chief from Halo joining the Battle Royale game as well. Here is everything we know about his arrival.

Fortnite Season 4 was marked by the inclusion of Marvel characters along with their powers, and now the Mandalorian is headlining the Season 5 Battle Pass. There are several new cosmetics, quests, and challenges for you to find in Season 5, but that’s not all.

While the new season focuses mainly on original content, it looks like Epic Games also has something up its sleeve for Halo fans. Some new leaks strongly indicate that Master Chief is coming to Fortnite Season 5, along with brand new Halo-themed cosmetics.

Here’s everything we know about Master Chief’s arrival in the game.

Is Master Chief coming to Fortnite?

The hype started when FNBRLeaks made a tweet that hinted at a potential Halo crossover. This post highlighted some new cosmetics and even a Red vs. Blue LTM, all with screenshots as proof. Now some more rumors are making rounds and boosting the hype.

Another tweet showcased a Master Chief outfit, along with a Lil’ Warthog Emote and a UNSC Pelican Glider. It seems that the Halo franchise’s iconic main character will soon be making his way to Fortnite. This closely follows another leak that teased the arrival of Kratos from God Of War.

When does Master Chief arrive in Fortnite?

We don’t have any confirmation from Fortnite or Bungie about whether Master Chief will truly be in Season 5. There is a theory that these skins will be console-based rewards, so Kratos will be available for PlayStation fans, while Master Chief goes to the Xbox version of the game.

If this theory is to be believed, then we should expect to see them both released around the same time. Fortnite Season 5 will continue until March 16, 2021, so we’ll know for sure long before then. The skins may be available for direct purchase from Fortnite’s in-game item store.

Master Chief’s arrival to the world of Fortnite is certain to spark the interest of fans from both franchises. This, along with the Kratos tease and Mandalorian skin, have made Season 5 even more interesting than we expected.

Keep in mind that these are still just rumors. We can’t know for sure until we hear from Epic Games or Bungie. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

New Fortnite invisibility glitch found in Predator Cloaking Device

Fortnite players have discovered an exploit with Predator’s Cloaking Device that allows you to remain invisible for an entire match.

Predator's Invisibility Cloak in Fortnite Season 5

You can hide from your opponents in Fortnite Season 5 with Predator’s Cloak Device and become invisible. Now some fans have found a way to exploit the device for an infinite invisibility glitch.

Epic Games brought The Predator to Fortnite Season 5 as part of the v15.21 update. You can battle him as a boss to unlock his skin and if you acquire the hunter’s mythic Cloak Device then you can become invisible.

Once you activate the device, other players won’t be able to see you other than getting a glimpse at your outline from a distance. You can use this to get a drop on your foes and then take them out when they least expect it.

One player discovered a glitch involving the Cloaking Device that you can exploit to gain infinite invisibility.

Fortnite invisibility bug in Predator’s Cloaking Device

This exploit was found by YouTuber Glitch King, who posted a video in which he showed off a way to extend the invisibility effect throughout the entire duration of a match. It’s so easy to perform that anyone can do it.

All you have to do is use the Cloaking Device and then unplug your internet. You can reconnect immediately and the game will keep you invisible until the match ends, or until you log off. You will be undetectable to other players and can use this to your advantage.

It’s not surprising to find an exploit like this since we’ve seen it happen several times in Fortnite. It was only recently that a few players discovered one that allowed them to use the jetpack to fly infinitely in the Floor is Lava tournament.

The most surprising thing about this glitch is how fast it was discovered. The Predator and his Mythic Cloaking Device have only been in the battle royale for a few hours and fans have already found a way to exploit bugs.

This exploit is fairly easy to take advantage of, and as the title of the video suggests; it will make players think that you’re hacking. It can be considered game-breaking since you will be almost impossible to spot during the match.

That said, it’s still difficult to kill The Predator, so it’s unlikely that many players will be taking the time to disconnect and reconnect their internet. If the bug persists, then it could become a real problem.

We might see Epic Games disable the new mythic soon until they properly patch up the glitch. We’ll be sure to update you if they do. You can read our guide to beating Predator to learn how you can unlock him as a skin.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges

There are brand new challenges available for you in week 8 of Fortnite Season 5. Here’s how you can get them done while making your way to the next tier of the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Season 5 is set to end on March 15, 2021, which means you just have a short while left to get through the Battle Pass. Luckily, there are plenty of new weekly challenges that give you opportunities to earn XP, and get yourself some cool cosmetics.

We’re now in week 8, and Epic Games have brought brand new tasks for you to tackle that are available until Thursday, January 28. Many of these revolve around farms, as well as the destruction of property. Here’s everything that you’ll need to do.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges

You can complete a total of eight seven Epic Quests at own leisure, along with a timed Legendary challenge that’s available until the end of the week.

While last week’s challenges focused on shields, the theme this time around is farming. Here are all the Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges:

  • Destroy apple and tomato produce boxes at The Orchard Farmers Market (3)
  • Drive a car through the corn field at Steel Farm (1)
  • Deliver a truck to Sunflower’s Farm (1)
  • Pistol Damage (250)
  • Collect Gold Bars (500)
  • Blow up a gas pump (1)
  • Distance traveled Gliding (3,500)
  • Eat Fish (10/20/30/40/50)

As you may have noticed, three of the challenges will require you to head over to a Farm or Farmers Market on the map. You can land directly at the Orchard’s Farmer’s Market, and start destroying boxes there before rotating to the Steel Farm.

Aside from that, we have a fairly standard set of Epic Quests that you’d come to expect, and that are fairly easy to complete. Pistols are common, so you’ll have no trouble finding one, and then use it to deal a total of 250 damage to players.

You can gain some distancing while gliding right after you jump from the Battle Bus, and Gold Bars can be found in safes, tills, and washing machines. You can blow up a gas pump by heading over to a gas station, and then shooting one repeatedly.

You’ll earn 20,000 XP for each Epic Quest that you complete, and can earn up to 140,000 XP total by getting them all. Then you can increase your earnings even further by attempting week 8’s Legendary quest.

This requires you to catch some fish with a Rod, Harpoon Gun, or explosives before eating them. This challenge has different tiers, and you’ll need to eat 50 fish in order to complete it. This will net you a total of 55,500 XP.

That sums up many of the weekly tasks, and we’ll post separate guides for Farm challenges when they go live. Be sure to complete them before they expire on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Epic Games have brought The Predator to Fortnite Season 5, and you can unlock the Bio-Helmet Online emote by visiting his apartment. Here’s where you can find this location on the map.

The Predator has finally arrived in Fortnite as part of the v15.21 update, and you can find him at Stealthy Stronghold. You can go over there to battle him for possession of his Invisibility Cloak, as well as to unlock the Predator skin.

You can then wear his skin to complete Jungle Hunter Quests in the Battle Pass to unlock the full Predator cosmetics set. This includes a Bio-Helmet Online emote that you get by visiting his apartment in Hunter’s Haven.

Where is Predator’s apartment in Fortnite?

You can find Predator’s apartment at the center of the map, just south of the Zero Point and the sandy area. Jump from the Battle Bus near there, and then make your way towards Hunter’s Haven.

Once you arrive there, you can spot the building on the northwest side of the area. A lot of other players will also be trying to get to the apartment, so you’ll have to be ready for a fight. You can improve your chances of success by landing directly on top of the apartment.

From there, you can make your way down while taking care of any players that you will encounter along the way. We’ve made the apartment easier to find by marking its exact location on the Fortnite map below.

You’ll know you’re in the right building due to the several Predator-themed decorations that can be found around the room, such as a Weapon Rack, Medkit, and ‘Nightmare Platform.’ Just make sure you’ve eliminated your enemies first so you don’t get attacked.

Now that you’re inside the apartment, you can collect the Predator’s Bio-helmet Online emote that will allow you to remove his mask. Now you’ll be able to play as him while showing off his “one ugly” visage that Arnold referred to in the 1987 classic.

Keep in mind that you can only tackle this quest if you’ve already gotten the Predator skin. You will need it to complete the other Jungle Hunter Quests as well, and you can read our guide to beating Predator to learn how you can unlock it.
