Fortnite’s Week 7 challenges are here for Battle Royale enthusiasts to complete. One of them requires you to collect five books from Holly Hedges & Sweaty Sands and we can instruct you how to do this in Fortnite Season 5.

One of this week’s Fortnite challenges needs you to venture into Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands to retrieve a total of five books.

It’s one of eight different challenges you’ll need to do for Week 7 and brings us another week closer to the end of Season 5. The beauty of Fortnite is that we don’t know why this needs to be done, we know only that it must be done if we want glorious XP.

Where to find books in Fortnite’s Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands

The books aren’t too difficult to find. When you do manage to locate five of them you’ll be one step closer to completing all of the Week 7 challenges that Epic Games have set you.

Just follow our guide and you should have this challenge done in no time.

Fortnite book #1

Our first one can be found in the top-left corner of Holly Hedges. It’s in a big yellow house. When you walk through the door, take a few steps in and you’ll see a bookcase on the left. The book should be on the floor next to it.

Number two is situated in the top-right corner of Holly Hedges. You’ll come to an older-looking, wooden house.

Enter it and go through the first archway on the right. Keep going through until you reach the room with the yellow carpet. The book is tucked away in the corner on the right when you first enter the room.

Fortnite book #3

We’re staying in Holly Hedges for #3. This one is near the bottom-right corner of the POI.

Enter a building that has the door on the right side of it and open your first door on your left. You should see a big fireplace. Next to the fireplace lies your third book to pick up.

Fortnite book #4

Now we’re heading over to Sweaty Sands for our final two. The fourth book is fairly central in the area and can be found in a blue and brown house. Make your way inside and head just past the bed. The book should be lying on the floor to collect.

Fortnite book #5

Our final book is actually very close to the location of the last one. After leaving the last house, simply cross to the opposite side of the road and enter the first house you see.

Enter the left-most door and just before the stairs. There, you’ll find a smaller bookcase. The fifth book is on the floor in front of it.

Once you’ve found the fifth one, you will have completed the challenge and earned a very easy 20,000 XP.

Fortnite The Convergence POI

Epic Games are keeping the Fortnite updates coming thick and fast during Fornitemares, with the 18.30 update scheduled for October 26. Here are all the leaks and rumors surrounding the latest update.

We’re about to enter the third and final week of Fortnitemares, which brought both the 18.20 and 18.21 updates. These updates brought significant changes to the battle royale, including donation boards, more Return Requests, and the new Cube Town POI.

The next update is 18.30, and rumors suggest that Cube Town could form a pyramid. Here’s everything we know about the 18.30 update so far.

Fortnite 18.30 update release date & server downtime

Fortnite 18.30 update patch notes

Fortnite’s 18.30 update is scheduled to go live on October 26, 2021, with downtime happening in the early morning.

As with all major Fortnite updates, the servers will be taken down while the update is applied. This usually happens around 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST and lasts around 1-2 hours. Matchmaking will be disabled around half an hour before the servers go down.

Fortnite’s Cube Town might become a pyramid

Fortnite’s Cubes came together to form the Cube Town, or The Convergence, in the 18.21 update, and leaks have suggested this may now turn into a pyramid.

Well-known leaker HYPEX has discovered that “there’s a string in the Cube Queen’s effects that refers to her as the ‘Pyramid Tip,’ and she will also be holding her pickaxe after 18.30 with lightning effects around her!”

Because of this, they said that “The Cube Town MIGHT turn into a pyramid slowly.” We’ll just need to wait for the 18.30 update to find out for sure.

Fortnite The Batman Who Laughs skin arrives

The Batman Who Laughs in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite is continuing its collaboration with DC Comics, bringing villain The Batman Who Laughs to the game. The skin will hit the Item Shop at 5 PM PT on October 25, the same day as the 18.30 update.

Fortnite 18.30 update bug fixes

Here are all of the bug fixes across Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World that Epic Games have confirmed will be fixed in either the next or future game updates.

  • Using the “Smash Attack” ability with the Sideways Scythe may result in fall damage (Battle Royale)
  • Red dot indicator no longer shows on compass when enemies are firing (Battle Royale)

Fortnite has added Jill Valentine & Chris Redfield from the Resident Evil franchise as new skins, and here’s everything you need to know about the price and bundle.

Epic Games often works with other developers to bring crossovers, and Season 8 brought a ton of new skins like CarnageVenom, as well as Atreides and Chanithe from the movie Dune.

Now, the latest collaboration is with the Resident Evil series, as Epic Games have added Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine to the battle royale title as new unlockable skins.

Here’s how you can get your hands on the Fortnite Resident Evil Bundle.

These Bundles are exciting additions for fans of both franchises, and Epic Games might be planning to introduce even more crossovers before Season 8 ends. There are various other popular franchises that they could collaborate with.

A few rumors are circulating that the popular anime protagonist Naruto will be making his way to the battle royale title as well. Hopefully, the developers will announce another fun crossover soon.
