According to some new Fortnite Chapter 3 leaks, the battle royale title is set to add another vehicle for players to commandeer soon, this time in the form of a Tank.

Fortnite Chapter 3 has quickly won over fans because of its various new additions like Klombo dinosaurs and the Pizza Party item, with even more content being added throughout Season 1’s progression.

Now, it seems that Epic Games are focusing their efforts towards adding a brand-new Fortnite vehicle to the Island, as some leaks are claiming that the battle royale title is set to receive a Tank soon.

According to prominent data miner ‘HYPEX,’ the Fortnite game files feature a new vehicle with the codename “TreadVehicle,” and this is reportedly a Tank that the developers are currently working on.

The leaker shared an image of the rumored vehicle’s design, and the most notable features were the tread wheels along with the giant drill in the Tank’s front which you could use to open new pathways.

The tread wheels imply that the Tank will move slowly, making you an easy target, but HYPEX claims that it includes seats for both the driver and passenger, so your teammate could tag along to provide cover fire.

At the time of writing, there are no other details available about this vehicle, so we don’t know if it will allow you to dig underground and then pop out underneath your opponents for a surprise attack.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, so take this information with a grain of salt. With all the frequent content updates that Fortnite gets, we could see this Tank appear soon.
