Fortnite leak points to the addition of a Thanos skin in Season 5

Recent rumors are circulating around the addition of the Mad Titan: Thanos being added into Season 5 of Fortnite as a skin.

The mad titan Thanos could be making another appearance in Season 5 of Fortnite, per recent leaks.

According to recent leaks, Thanos could finally be making another appearance in Fortnite as an obtainable skin via the item shop, something players would have loved in the Marvel x Fortnite crossover during Nexus War and even during the initial release of Avengers: Infinity War.

Marvel X Fortnite, Avengers: Endgame promo.

During the original addition of Thanos into Fortnite, we would have the Infinity Gauntlet randomly drop into the arena, transforming a lucky player into Thanos, capable of destroying all enemies in their path. When the player was killed, the gauntlet would drop, transforming the next lucky player into Thanos as well.

Following the success of the Avengers: Infinity War event, an LTM was added for Avengers: Endgame, bringing back Thanos and his army.

After the LTM disappeared soon after the launch of the film, players were left to guess when we would see the Mad Titan in all of his glory in the game again, perhaps as a purchasable skin in the item shop.

Well hopefully soon we will no longer have to guess, as popular leaker @Mang0e_ on Twitter has shared a recent finding in the game’s files, disclosing that “An animation for an Extra Large Male skin was added in 15.40”. He also added that “the only XL male skin that currently exists is Thanos.”

While we can’t be 100% sure that the skin in question is Thanos himself, we’d like to have some wishful thinking we’ll either see him in the item shop, or as a bounty hunter skin.

Only time will tell if this skin is Thanos or a brand new XL skin, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed.

Warzone hacker openly uses cheats while streaming on Twitch

Warzone unfortunately has hackers, but it’s not everyday that one of them is showcasing it on Twitch, which recently caught the community’s attention.

A Warzone hacker was found cheating online while streaming to an audience on Twitch, seemingly not caring about the damage they are doing to the developers’ work and the community.

Raven Software is constantly combatting the hackers their game holds, even attempting “hardware bans” to those who cheat.

With the hackers becoming more abundant, even making their own operator skins, one has been caught streaming on Twitch, openly discussing his cheating with the chat.

Warzone hacker found streaming on Twitch

The hacker found cheating on Twitch was “AGuyNamedCody,” who was streaming himself, eliminating enemies, and winning games with ease.

The hacker’s reason for cheating is extremely counterproductive, as he says, “I got tired of playing against cheaters, so I was like, oh I’ll make my own.”

The Reddit post by CorySellsDaHouse has received a lot of attention, with many in the comments directing hate towards the hacker. Warzone players are fed up with the game being abused by cheaters, especially on PC, so it seems players are taking out their anger on this hacker.

In the video, the hacker responds to a comment in the Twitch chat who asked: “So you ruin it for the folks who just wanna play and maybe have an hour a day?”

The hacker responded by saying: “Yeah, go find another game.”

This attitude towards ruining player experience shows how hackers like this have no shame in what they’re doing. They have nothing to lose, and as he says in the video if he gets banned, it takes him “two minutes to make a new account.”

Hopefully, something will be implemented for the Call of Duty battle royale that will make major progress in stopping hackers from populating servers, as cheating by players has been one of the main topics for Warzone since it was released.

Black Ops Cold War Season 4 trailer possibly teases new Zombies map

The Black Ops Cold War Season 4 trailer had plenty of exciting footage with one clip possibly giving players the first look at a new Zombies map.

New Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Zombies Map

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players were treated to some exciting teases in the Season 4 gameplay trailer, with one of them possibly showing the Zombies community the first look at a new map.

Season 3 made some waves in the world of Black Ops Cold War Zombies, with the largest being the introduction of the first main Easter Egg quest for the Outbreak game mode.

This Outbreak Easter Egg quest continued the main story of Black Ops Cold War zombies, which Treyarch has said will ultimately be tied to the next round-based Zombies map for the first-person shooter.

Not much information has been provided for this new Zombies map, with leaks suggesting it could be based in Berlin and that it will be arriving in Season 4.

New Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Zombies Map

While Treyarch has not yet officially announced a Berlin map or that it will be coming in Season 4, the recently released Season 4 gameplay trailer for Cold War possibly gave the Zombies community a first glimpse of a new map.

The part of the Season 4 gameplay trailer in question occurs at the very end of the video. First, a few seconds are shown of Zombies walking down a subway tunnel with then what appears to be a subway on fire making its way towards running all of the Zombies over.

Players will have to wait until June 14 for Activision and Treyarch to officially reveal the content roadmap for Black Ops Cold War Season 4 and if a new Zombies map is included on this plan for the new period of content.

However, this clip from the gameplay trailer does give hope to players that they will be hearing of a brand new Zombies map they will be able to experience at some point in Season 4, even if it might come in the Reloaded portion of the season in a couple of months.

Treyarch went on to post an image on Twitter stating that the “prologue to our next round-based Zombies map begins on June 17.” This looks to confirm that the new map may not arrive at the start of Season 4 but will be coming later on in the season or Season 5.

Warzone players call for Dead Silence spawn rate to be nerfed

A few Warzone players have expressed their frustration with the spawn rate of Dead Silence, and want devs to nerf the field upgrade.

Warzone players want Dead Silence nerfed

While the Dead Silence field upgrade can be useful for stealth in Warzone, a few players are frustrated with its spawn rate and are asking the developers to nerf it.

When you hop into a Warzone match, there are various tactics that you can employ to get the upper hand over your opponents. One of the most successful strategies is to take them by surprise stealthily.

The Dead Silence field upgrade can be greatly helpful in achieving this, as it allows you to sprint more quietly. However, a few players feel like this is too prevalent in Season 3 matches and want its spawn rate nerfed.

Dead Silence can help you sneak up on Warzone enemies

Reddit user sheeplington highlighted this issue in a post in the CoD: Warzone subreddit. They explained that the spawn rate seems to has increased recently, and it’s causing in-game issues.

“I’m so sick of being killed to Dead Silence recently,” wrote the user. “It’s almost as if the spawn rate has increased 10 fold since stopping power had been ‘nerfed.’”

According to sheeplington, the kill-cams showed that their opponents all had the field upgrade active when they landed their kills. The player said they wanted the spawn rate of Dead Silence reduced.

This isn’t the first time that Warzone players have wanted the devs to make major changes, as they recently asked for stun grenades to get nerfed. One user came up with an explanation for the increased spawn rate of Dead Silence.

“Its because they seem to have a set number of field upgrades in ground loot, so when they removed deployable covers and lowered the amount of stopping power they made dead silence take place of both of them. That’s why you see it so much”

Deployable Cover was removed from the game back earlier in Season 3, as players could use this particular Field Upgrade to glitch under the map and other areas of Verdansk ’84 that are not supposed to be able to be entered by players.

The spawn rate of Stopping Power was dramatically reduced in the Season 3 Reloaded update, as the developers explained they felt Stopping Power had too much upside compared to the item’s downside and needed a balance correction.

It remains to be seen if the developers will apply a similar change to Dead Silence in the future. For more Warzone, check out the top 10 players for the Call of Duty battle royale, according to JGOD, and stay tuned for future news and guides.
