Some new leaks have emerged that hint at the arrival of an inventory feature in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7 that will make it easier for players to manage their items.

There is a wide variety of new content to explore in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, including an alien invasionbrand-new Battle Pass as well as new cosmetic skins like Superman and Rick Sanchez.

When you jump into a match, your first priority will be to collect weapons to defend yourself. Players have been asking for a system that lets you automatically sort your weapon inventory, and it seems that feature is on its way.

This information was leaked by notable Fortnite data miner HYPEX, who explained that an automatic weapon organization system is currently in the works.

“Epic is most likely working on a setting to automatically place items types in the slot that you want,” said the leaker. “For example when you pick up a shotgun it’ll automatically place it in slot #3 or whichever you want. A ‘Preferred Slot Item Type’ feature is being worked on since 17.00!”

This will let you automatically sort items that you collect into specific slots, so you’ll be able to manage your inventory with greater ease.

This new feature would remove the need for individually sorting your gear, which is a particularly difficult process when playing on a console with your controller.

However, it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, so you should take this information with a grain of salt. Hopefully, Epic Games will confirm this feature soon enough.
