Despite Fortnite Season 7’s Rick and Morty crossover, Morty himself has been noticeably missing. Well, if a new leak is to be believed, the sidekick could finally be hitting the store pretty soon.

Players were excited to see that the popular sci-fi series Rick and Morty would be crossing over into Fortnite Season 7. But despite Rick Sanchez being added as one of the season’s premier skins, fans were surprised that Morty wasn’t given the same treatment.

Hammerhead Morty was made available as a mining tool, but as the likes of Gamora and Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy were added in, the lack of a Morty skin became more of a mystery. But fans’ wishes now appear to be answered, as a new leak has shown that Rick’s grandson will not only be playable soon, but he’ll come with some cool additions.

According to Fortnite dataminer HYPEX, Morty will be landing in Fortnite shortly, but he won’t be left to fend for himself. Based on the leaked screenshots, he will be piloting a mech exo-suit to fit the hitbox requirements that Fortnite characters have to meet.

The suit doesn’t appear to be one that features in an episode of the series, but instead one custom-designed for Fortnite. Pictures also reveal that a Meeseeks box will available as a Backbling, most likely as part of the Morty bundle when it drops on the storefront.

Later, the same leaker also uploaded a short video showing a brand new emote expected to release at the same time. The famous ‘Get Schwifty’ dance from the show’s Season 2 episode of the same name will join Morty, with HYPEX saying the dance can be done “alone and in a group.”

We don’t have details on how much the Morty package will cost, but based on previous releases it’s safe to assume it will be somewhere between 1,200 and 2,000 V-bucks.

There’s also the possibility that the release will come with a number of themed in-game challenges to complete. These tend to reward players with XP to level up the Battle Pass or new cosmetics.

Charlie INTEL will keep you updated on when the new skin drops and how to get it once it’s been officially revealed by Epic. Until then, make sure you check our guide on how to complete all of the Season 7 Week 11 Quests.
