Fortnite players desperate for devs to fix popular mode

A recent update has changed one of the community’s favorite modes in Fortnite Season 7, and fans want the devs to revert it back.

Season 7 has given Fortnite another handy boost with tons of new content and changes, but one alteration hasn’t gone down well as fans want the game’s Team Rumble mode to be fixed.

When players aren’t on the edge of their seat nervously grinding out a Victory Royale in Fortnite, there are always fun challenges and distractions to engage with. There are weekly challenges that go towards completing the Battle Pass, and the act of completing them has become slightly more difficult.

Formerly a limited-time mode, Fortnite’s version of Team Deathmatch – Team Rumble – has felt stale for a while, and Epic Games decided to change it. However, the updated version of Team Rumble hasn’t gone down well with fans, and they want it to be reverted to its previous state.

Team Rumble is overtly different from the game’s main battle royale mode as it has 32 players altogether and splits this up into two teams of 16 fighting each other.

The first team to achieve 100 eliminations before the other team wins. There are respawns aplenty, and players enjoy it because they can complete challenges more easily than they would in battle royale.

However, Epic Games has changed the game mode to make it feel new, and in doing so has alienated the fanbase – in the same way they’ve alienated Fortnite.

These are the changes that Epic has made to Team Rumble:

  • The storm already covers lots of the map before you even drop
  • The storm shrinks faster
  • The Battle Buses now cross paths next to each other
  • Players start with several basic weapons to reduce exploration

Fortnite recently brought out its 3.19 update for Season 7, and in the response to the Tweet, many players replied asking Epic to undo the new changes.

“revert the team rumble update,” “Hey Mr Fortnite Status, we love this season, and it’s really cool! But could you please revert Team Rumble back to normal?,” “Can you release a hotfix to revert the changes you made to Team Tumble this season?” are just a few select comments, with many more in agreement.

It’s become accepted that Team Rumble was used more to do challenges than it was for its core principles, so this change was possibly a deliberate move from Epic Games.

New “Zero Gravity” POI leaked in Fortnite Season 7

Some new Fortnite leaks have emerged which point to the arrival of a new Zero Gravity POI in Chapter 2, Season 7.

Zero Gravity POI in Fortnite Season 7

Some leaked audio files are pointing at the arrival of a mysterious ‘Zero Gravity’ POI to Fortnite in Chapter 2, Season 7, set to be a brand-new location on the map.

Fortnite Season 7 is already proving to be an exciting new start with all the impressive content that’s being added, including UFOs, an alien invasion, new Exotic weapon locations, and a Superman skin.

There have also been some major map changes, and some leaks have revealed that another new location might be on its way. This new “Zero Gravity” point of interest will reportedly bring a unique feature to the game.

low gravity in Fortnite

This leak came from notable Fortnite data miner HYPEX, who was digging through the battle royale’s game files. As the name implies, this new POI will reportedly create a “no gravity area.”

It will appear near the center of the new Season 7 map, and audio files in the game’s code give some credibility to the rumor. The data miner discovered unique audio cues that are specific to this new location.

These include sounds for jumping around in Zero Gravity, audio for entering and exiting, and a background sound for when you’re inside the new biome.

While we’ve seen low gravity in Fortnite before, the battle royale has never had a pure Zero Gravity POI in previous seasons. This sounds extremely exciting, but it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks.

Epic Games haven’t officially announced another POI for Season 7 yet, so take this information with a grain of salt. If the rumors are true then the new mechanic will provide a unique gameplay experience.

We’ll keep checking for updates regarding this new POI, and will be sure to let you know once there are any new developments. For more Fortnite, stay tuned to Charlie INTEL, and check out how to level up the Season 7 Battle Pass quickly.

Where to find a dead drop in Fortinte's weeping woods

There are brand-new challenges in Week 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, and here’s how you can complete the one that requires you to interact with a Dead Drop in Weeping Woods.

There is a brand-new set of weekly challenges available for you to complete so that you can earn some XP, progress through the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass and unlock the Rick Sanchez skin.

One of the Week 2 Epic Quests has you interact with a Dead Drop in Weeping Woods. This isn’t particularly difficult to complete, but we’ll make things easier by pointing out where to search.

The good news is that all three of the Dead Drop are close to each other within Fortnite’s Weeping Woods. In addition, they’re all close to the river that flows through the area, and you only need to find one.

The first one can be found on a tree stump to the left of the bridge on the north side of this area. You can find another one on top of another stump that’s between two trees on the other side of the bridge.

For the final dead drop, you need to follow the river west until the point where it bends southward. There’s another tree stump there next to two rocks. We’ve marked all of these locations on the map below.

This isn’t the most complicated Epic Quest to complete in Week 2 of Fortnite Season 7. However, once you find a single Dead Drop in any of these locations, you can interact with it and complete the challenge.

This will net you a total of 30,000 XP, so be sure to drop directly into Weeping Woods after you jump from the Battle Bus. However, other players may also have the same idea, so be ready for a fight.

That’s all you need to do to complete this weekly challenge in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7. You can also check out our guide on how to level up the Season 7 Battle Pass as fast as possible.
