Epic Games has announced the 2021 competitive schedule for the FNCS and other tournaments throughout Season 5.

In a post on Epic Game’s official website, they’ve confirmed plans for several Fortnite tournaments throughout 2021. Competitive events will take place on most Mondays and Fridays, with additional competitions spread throughout the week.

While the official dates have not been announced yet, at least we now know which weekdays are planned to be tournament days, and all of the events we have to look forward to.

Here’s the rundown of all the planned upcoming events.

Friday Nite Bragging Rights

Starting Friday, January 8, Friday Nite bragging rights tournaments will be almost every Friday through the competitive season. It will be split by platform, with all PC, console, and mobile platforms having their own ladder.

All winners will get a shoutout from the Fortnite Competitive Twitter account every week. This will be a trio format.

Battle Royale Cash Cups – Mondays

Beginning Monday, January 11, Battle Royale Cash Cups will be tournaments similar to Contender Cash Cups, with real cash prizes.

These events will be in a trio format and cross-platform. Events will occur on a bi-weekly basis.

LTM Tournments

LTM tournaments are back and will be similar to Wild Wednesday’s from last season. These will occur on alternating Mondays, presumably when the Cash Cups are not active.

The mode and tournament format will be announced on the Fortnite Competitive Twitter ahead of the events. Cash prizes will be awarded to top players in each region.

FNCS (and more)

FNCS will be officially starting Thursday, February 4. More information regarding the FNCS will be released in the coming weeks.

Additionally, more tournaments will be released throughout the season in modes other than trios. These will also be announced via the Fortnite Competitive Twitter.
