Fortnite Season 6 DC crossover rumors debunked in new leaks

Rumors of a potential DC-themed crossover in the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass have been shot down by leakers.

Fortnite DC crossover rumors debunked

There have been rumors circulating that Fortnite Season 6 will feature a massive DC Comics crossover, but these have seemingly been disproved by a few leakers.

Fortnite Season 5 is coming to an end soon, and it has been a memorable trip for fans of the battle royale. We’ve seen various big crossovers with The Walking Dead, Predator, Terminator, and many others.

Before this, Season 4 had a Marvel-themed crossover featuring various superheroes from that brand. After a few exclusive Batman skins were initially leaked, rumors began spreading that Season 6 would have a similar crossover with DC.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Flash in Fortnite

With Fortnite Season 6 set to go live on March 16. the anticipation for a DC-themed crossover was at an all-time high. The inclusion of characters like The Flash in Season 5 certainly contributed to the hype.

However, fans expecting this crossover are likely to be disappointed, as Fortnite leaker, ShiinaBR, tweeted out that the Season 6 battle pass will be “100% not DC-themed.”

They credited this discovery to another leaker known as Tabor Hill, who has correctly leaked a ton of Fortnite information before. Now, multiple leakers are shooting down the possibility of a DC crossover in the coming update.

At the moment, we don’t know the exact theme of the battle pass, and Epic Games have the opportunity to introduce another major crossover or event. Season 5 will have an epic conclusion in the form of the Zero Crisis Finale.

The door is open for the developers to do something extremely memorable in Season 6. Perhaps we’ll get a brand new weapon type, map additions and changes, crossovers with other franchises, along with brand new NPC quests.

We’ll keep checking for any more announcements and updates regarding Season 6. Once we hear something noteworthy, we’ll be sure to let you know.

How to complete Bounties in Fortnite Season 8: All Bounty Board locations

Here’s how to complete Bounties in Fortnite Season 8 to earn Gold, as well as all 18 of the Bounty Board locations.

Fortnite Season 8 Bounty Board

If you’re looking to earn some extra Gold and XP in Fortnite, then you can hunt down other players as Bounties. Here’s how to complete Bounties in Season 8 and all of the Bounty Board locations.

Fortnite lets you collect Bounties on other players so that you can earn Gold Bars. These first arrived in Fortnite Season 5, taking inspiration from one of Warzone’s contracts. Now, they’ve returned in Season 8.

Whether you’re looking to complete Punchcard Quests or just want to earn some extra Gold, here’s everything you need to know about Fortnite Bounties and all of the Bounty Board locations.

How to complete Bounties in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite Bounty Board and Gold bars

All you need to do is find and approach a Fortnite Bounty Board and press the interact button to ‘Start Player Bounty.’ You’ll then get the name and skin of the target with a six-minute timer counting down the time remaining.

The player’s location will appear on the map as a yellow circle, but you’ll only be able to see their general whereabouts. So, you’ll need to search the area for them while being careful about the target spotting you first.

Once the enemy has been spotted, you can kill them. Depending on the circumstances and the skill of your target, this will be either be quick and easy or extremely difficult. Completing the bounty will grant you Gold Bars.

Fortnite Season 8 Cube Assassin NPC

If another player takes out your target, you’ll receiver a smaller amount of Gold Bars than usual. If the Player Bounty runs out of time before your target has been dealt with, you’ll get no Gold Bars.

To summarize:

  1. Approach a Bounty Board and accept the Bounty
  2. Find your target inside the circle
  3. Eliminate your target within six minutes

To begin a Bounty, you’ll need to find a Bounty Board. There are 18 of these scattered about the island, and we have their locations listed below. Also, thanks to Fortnite.GG, we’ve got a handy map detailing all their locations too.

Here’s the location of every Fortnite Season 8 Bounty Board:

  1. Believer Beach
  2. Boat Dock near Lockie’s Lighthouse
  3. Boney Burbs
  4. Bus Stop northeast of Lazy Lake
  5. Camp Cod south of Catty Corner
  6. Catty Corner
  7. Dirty Docks
  8. Dusted Depot east of The Convergence
  9. Fancy View west of Believer Beach
  10. FN Radio on the hill east of Craggy Cliffs
  11. Hydro 16 east of Sludgy Swamp
  12. Misty Meadows
  13. Pylon south of Steamy Stacks
  14. Risky Reels north of The Convergence
  15. Sludgy Swamp
  16. Stealthy Stronghold
  17. The Orchard farm north of Corny Crops
  18. Weeping Woods

You can start a Bounty by visiting any of these locations but we recommend choosing one near the center of Fortnite Island or near a busy location. This generally grants you a higher chance of successfully completing the bounty.

Just make sure you have a solid collection of weapons at your disposal so that you can take your target with greater ease. Sideways weapons like the Sideways Scythe might come in handy.

How to get Sideways Weapons in Fortnite Season 8

Here’s everything you need to know about The Sideways in Fortnite Season 8, including how to enter it and get the Sideways Weapons.

Cube Monster in Fortnite

One of the new changes in Fortnite Season 8 is the new Sideways dimension that’s filled with monsters. Here’s how you can enter it and access the new Sideways Weapons to complete the Cube Queen Quests.

Fortnite Season 8 is in full swing, and there are some fun new additions in the game like the Carnage skin. The new season also brought Kevin the Cube back to the battle royale, which has now formed The Convergence in the middle of the map.

Along with The Convergence came The Cube Queen, the Secret Battle Pass skin for Season 8. She can now be unlocked after the 18.30 update, where players must enter The Sideways and collect Sideways Weapons to complete her Quests.

Here’s everything you need to know about entering The Sideways and collecting Sideways Weapons.

How to enter The Sideways in Fortnite

The Sideways bubble in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite Season 8’s Sideways will be marked as rifts on your map. Once you go near, it will turn into a huge orange bubble marked by a glowing circle on your map. Once you get close to the bubble, you’ll be pulled in.

In The Sideways, players will be able to battle new monsters added to the game, who will drop new and powerful weapons to give you even more firepower against your opponents.

Once you’re in there, you’ll need to battle waves of Cube Monsters in a new dimension where gravity is low, and you’ll not have access to the game’s standard building mechanic.

How to get Sideways weapons in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite Sideways Weapons, Cubes and Chest

Opening chests inside Fortnite Season 8’s The Sideways will grant you all of the Sideways Weapons.

There are at least three new weapons that you can get your hands on in this dimension: The Sideways Rifle, Minigun, and Scythe. Plus, a Sideways Lightblade has also been leaked.

You can use these to deal bonus damage through their superpowered state, which is perfect for completing the Cube Queen Quests.

Sideways Rifle

The Sideways Rifle can be found inside Sideways Chests. Just open enough chests and you’ll eventually get your hands on it.

This Rifle is perfect for players who prefer long-range combat. The Epic version of this weapon can dish out 32 damage with a fire rate of 3.5 and a reload time of 2.66.

Additionally, the gun has a bonus Perk where it can deal extra damage to foes while it’s hot. This makes it an ideal choice for causing mayhem the next time you’re fighting for your life in The Sideways.

Sideways Minigun

Again, the Sideways Minigun is found through opening Sideways Chests. Make sure to stay clear of other players going for them, and you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding one.

As with The Sideways Rifle, this weapon also has a bonus perk. Once it gets heated, the fire rate increases so that you can shoot bullets much faster at your opponents.

Sideways Scythe

And the final weapon you need for the Cube Queen Quests, the Sideways Scythe, is also found in Sideways Chests.

You’ll need to deal 150 damage opponents with the Scythe for the Cube Queen Quests, but it’s also an extremely effective tool for taking down Cube Monsters.

That covers everything you need to know about The Sideways in Fortnite Season 8. With the new update underway, we expect to see many other cool new additions to the battle royale.
