Fortnite Season 7 Live Event

Fortnite Season 6 is about to reach its epic conclusion, and the developers have a huge season live event planned to introduce Season 7. Here’s everything we know about the possible Fortnite Season 7 live event.

Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6, has won over fans with its various new additions, including a crafting system and tamable wild animals. This season will be coming to an end, and Epic Games are focusing on the next major update.

With Season 7 almost here, the developers will need to make this end-of-season event more memorable than Season 5’s Zero Point Finale. Here’s everything you need to know about what happened regarding a event to end the season.

When is the Fortnite Season 7 live event?

Unfortunately, fans who were hoping to see a grand spetacle to kick off Season 7 were disappointed, as the new period of content did not start with a live event but with only an update and the release of the story and Battle Pass trailers.

Epic Games confirmed that the Season 6 Battle Pass is set to expire on June 7, 2021. Season 7 will then go live immediately afterward or on June 8.

The Zero Crisis Finale was a solo experience that you could join at any time after launching Fortnite during Season 6.

The Fortnite Season 7 live event might return to the live event format from previous seasons, allowing players to enjoy it together, or it might follow the format of the Zero Crisis Finale where players could experience it the first time they played the new season.

This would likely be following the downtime of the update that begins at 11 PM PST/ 1 AM CST/ 2 AM EST on June 7/8 if Epic Games uses the event format of Season 6.

Aliens in the Fortnite Season 6 finale

Following the v16.50 patch, Season 6 introduced some new challenges called the Foreshadowing Quests, and each of these points towards a possible alien invasion.

One of these required you to investigate a downed Black Helicopter, while another one had you find and repair broken telescopes across the map. A leak from Fortnite data miner ShiinaBR shows mysterious crop circles on the map.

Other leaks suggest that UFOs will randomly spawn across the Island and will warp players elsewhere. So it’s possible the event could be influenced by this somehow.

However, the arrival of the new season confirmed that there would be no Fortnite Season 7 live event in a major change of format from Epic Games, as events had been a major component of the game for years now.

We’ll keep checking for further updates regarding this and will let you know about any new developments.
