Signal Fire in Fortnite

Ariana Grande has arrived in Fortnite as an NPC and for her Fortnitemares Punchcard Quests, you’ll need to launch Signal Flares. Here’s how you can get this done quickly.

Fortnite’s Halloween update has brought some new content to the Fortnitemares event. This includes some brand-new Punchcards that have brought Ariana Grande back as an NPC on Fortnite Island.

For one of her Quests, you’ll need to launch a few Signal Flares to contact other hunters. These can be found in different areas across the map, and you’ll need to visit them to complete the Quest.

This guide will go over all the locations that you can visit to get this done.

Fortnite Signal Flare locations

Fortnite Signal Flare Location

You can find Signal Flares in a total of 4 locations on Fortnite Island. They resemble large brightly colored fireworks with dynamite on the side, so they’re fairly hard to miss if you’re in their vicinity.

Here are all the Signal Flare locations in Fortnite:

  • Shattered Saucer
  • East of Primal Pond
  • South west of Dirty Docks
  • West of FN Radio

For this quest, you only need to visit three of these locations, so head over there and interact with the Signal Flares to launch them. This will help you get in contact with the hunters.

Fortnite Signal Flare

Once you’ve launched 3 Signal Flares, you’ll be rewarded with 30,000 XP and this Quest will be marked as complete. You can also complete other Ariana Grande Punchcard Quests for some more XP.

One of these tasks you with revealing the Command Symbol, and we’ve got an in-depth guide for that too. Completing more Punchard Quests will help you level up faster, so be sure to try it out.

However, you need to watch out for other players who might also be in the area to complete the Punchcard Quests before you do. Make sure you’ve got some solid weapons and gear to defend yourself.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3’s 21.20 update has gone live, bringing Indiana Jones and the new Charge SMG. But it’s also given dataminers a sneak peek at the cosmetics still to come, so here’s every leaked skin, Back Bling, and more from Fortnite’s 21.20 update.

Fortnite has an enormous collection of cosmetics, including skins and characters from other video games, movies, TV shows, and pop culture as a whole. Darth Vader and Indiana Jones have arrived in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 but players are always looking toward what’s next.

The 21.20 update arrived on July 6, bringing back the Port-A-Fort and introducing the new Charge SMG. But this has also allowed dataminers to comb through the game files and discover upcoming content.

Here are all the cosmetics found in Fortnite’s 21.20 update including skins, Back Bling, Pickaxes, and more.

Fortnite 21.20 leaked skins

Over ten different Fortnite skins have been found in the 21.20 game files, the majority of them coming from the Squad Origins set. This set gives different styles to classic characters, based on fan-favorite Chapter 1 POIs such as Lucky Landing, Dusty Depot, and Tilted Towers.

There is also Khari from the Starlit Archer set, which leakers believe will be the reward for an upcoming Galaxy Cup.

  • Khari
  • Tilted Trooper
  • Dusty Daredevil
  • Risky Raider
  • Salty Striker
  • Lucky Leader
  • Fearless Flusher
  • Wailing Warrior
  • ‘Mato Marauder

There’s only one new Harvesting Tool found in the 21.20 game files so far, the Moonlit Bowblade which will be part of the Starlit Archer set.

The Moonlit Bowblade is a fantasy-style dagger that appears to have a space-themed design, with the blade featuring nebulas and stars in the night sky, similar to the extremely rare Galaxy skin.

There is also a brand-new Emote coming called Fort Knighted, where players “arise as a knight of the realm.” In this, they appear to kneel down and are tapped on each shoulder with a sword.

Fortnite 21.20 leaked Emoticons, Loading Screens & Sprays

Fortnite dataminers also discovered several Emoticons, Loading Screens, and Sprays in the 21.20 update files.

Indiana Jones in Fortnite 21.20 update

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is nearing its halfway point, and the Fortnite 21.20 update is here to add even more content to the battle royale title. Here’s everything you need to know about the 21.20 patch, which includes the Charge SMG, Indiana Jones skin, and more.

Fortnite shows no sign of slowing down with Chapter 3 Season 3 adding even more to the blockbuster battle royale such as the new Ripsaw Launcher and Grapple Glove. The 21.10 update brought Darth Vader to the island and added the Super Styles, and the July 6 21.20 update brings even more to the battle royale.

This week’s patch includes the new Charge SMG weapon, map changes, the return of the Port-A-Fort, and the new Indiana Jones skin. You can see the full Fortnite 21.20 update patch notes below.

Charge SMG arrives in Fortnite

Fortnite players have a brand-new weapon to wield after the Fortnite 21.20 update, as the Charge SMG is finally introduced to the loot pool.

First leaked all the way back in Chapter 2, Season 7, the Charge SMG can be picked up from ground loot, Chests, Supply Drops, Reality Saplings, and sharks.

Activate the weapon’s charge by holding down the trigger. The longer you hold it, the more bullets you’ll release when you fire it. With the arrival of the Charge SMG, Epic have placed the Combat SMG into the Vault, so don’t expect to see it on the island any time soon.

Indiana Jones arrives in Fortnite 21.20 update

Each Fortnite season comes with a bonus skin that Battle Pass owners can unlock a few weeks in, and Season 3’s 21.20 update finally brings Indiana Jones.

The Indiana Jones Battle Pass Quests will go live at 9AM ET on July 6, with players who complete these challenges able to unlock the skin and other cosmetic items from his set.

Fortnite 21.20 map changes

Tumbledown Temple is no more! The landmark has been a popular drop spot for players throughout Season 3 but has been renamed “Shuffled Shrines” following the 21.20 update.

This POI can be found west of The Joneses, and Epic Games say players are in for an “ancient architecture adventure.”

Port-A-Fort returns!

Epic always say that any item removed from the game can always return, and this has been proved true once again with the Port-A-Fort!

Found in Chests or picked up from ground loot, the Port-A-Fort gives players an instant structure — no building necessary! Use it to give yourself some cover, or as a distraction while you sneak up on opponents.

Fortnite No Sweat Summer challenges

Epic Games added the Island Hopper Creative Quests as part of the No Sweat Summer event and suggested that more challenges are still to come.

At the end of the Island Hopper blog post, Epic teased: “Want more summer vibes? No sweat, more summer is coming. Stay tuned for more.”

The Island Hopper Quests are only live until July 6, so it sounds like there will be even more challenges to complete after they conclude.

Fortnite 21.20 update bug fixes

Thanks to Epic Games’ Trello board of Fortnite Community Issues, we can see the major bug fixes that are set to arrive in the 21.20 update.

  • Battle Royale: Sapling Icon can be misplaced on the Map/Minimap
    • Players may see their Sapling Icon out in the ocean or otherwise off of the actual map and not anywhere near where they had planted it.
  • Creative: Tracker Device
    • We’re aware of an issue that is causing the tracker device to not update correctly for teams when multiple teams are able to use it.
