Fortnite events have always delivered with unique quests and free rewards, players eagerly await the next bacth. The latest event that was added with the 24.10 update in Chapter 4 Season 2 is Spring Breakout 2023.
Spring Breakout is a recurring Fortnite event like Winterfest and No Sweat Summer. These events have different themes but for players, it’s all about completing the event quests for free XP and rewards.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Spring Breakout start & end date
The Spring Breakout event in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 began on March 29, 2023, and will be live until April 11, 2023. During this time, players will witness new daily quests, spring-themed map changes, and a lot more.
Fortnite Spring Breakout quests & rewards
Backbling skins and sprays are commonly rewarded during Fortnite events.Fortnite will release a total of 22 Spring Breakout quests during the Spring Breakout event in Chapter 4 Season 2. The first quest is already live in-game and new ones will be added daily until April 11, 2023.
While the majority of these quests will grant 20,000 XP, there are a few that will hand out free cosmetics and banners:

The unreleased quests were revealed by leaker iFireMonkey in a Twitter post.
Map changes & weapons released with Fortnite Spring Breakout event
During the Spring Breakout event, Fortnite players will witness green and purple chickens that’ll lay the following eggs:
- Green eggs – These eggs restore your Health and Shield gradually.
- Blue eggs – These eggs give you a Health boost and a temporary low gravity effect.
- Golden eggs – These eggs add to your bars but cannot be added to your inventory like Green and Blue eggs.
On top of that, several parts of the map will have a spring theme as the green leaves on trees will be replaced with cherry blossom flowers.
Last but not least, Fortnite Spring Breakout Event has brought back the Egg Launcher and players can get it through chests, ground loot, Supply Drops, and NPCs. Do note that the unvaulted weapon will be vaulted again when the event leaves the game on April 11, 2023.
