Zero Point Fish in Fortnite

Fortnite’s v21.30 update brought the Zero Point Fish back to the game, and here’s everything you need to know about it, including how to catch it and what it does.

The v21.30 update brought numerous changes to Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3, including the addition of the Indiana Jones cosmetic skin as well as the No Sweat Summer event Quests and rewards.

Another change in this update was that the Zero Point Fish had been unvaulted, and this was a fish species that was first added in Chapter 2, Season 5. Now, you can catch this fish in Chapter 3, Season 3.

How to catch the Zero Point Fish in Fortnite

You don’t need to complete any special challenge to catch the Fortnite Zero Point Fish since you just have to make your way toward any of the fishing spots on the map and use your fishing rod in the water.

This is exactly how you catch other fish in the game, and you can check out our Fortnite fishing guide for some useful tips. Since this species is rare, it may take some time before you finally catch it.

What does the Fortnite Zero Point Fish do?

After you’ve caught the Zero Point Fish, you can consume it to regenerate 15 HP, and it also provides you with the ability to teleport in any direction by pressing the jump button quickly twice.

Both of these effects can be greatly beneficial if you find yourself outside the circle and overwhelmed by enemies, so be sure to catch this fish if you’re looking for a quick getaway during the match.
