Epic GamesFortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here, and players have a new-look map to drop into now that the update is live. Here are all of the map changes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, including the new POIs and the locations that have been removed.
After weeks of build-up and hype, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has finally arrived. While the update didn’t deliver the live event that many expected, it still brought a ton of fresh content, including a new Battle Pass full of skins like TikTok star Khabe Lame.
The arrival of the latest season also had a major impact on the Fortnite map, as the island looks very different compared to last season. Some popular locations have been removed, while a handful of shiny new POIs have been added in their place.
Here’s a breakdown of all the map changes in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 new locations
There are a total of three new named locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. According to the patch notes, each of these POIs are “strongly-defended bases complete with cameras, laser grids, and guards,” and are home to a number of Mythic weapons.
Sanguine Suits is a sprawling beach-side resort, featuring a number of swanky rooms for players to loot. Meanwhile, Relentless Retreat is a peaceful island found at the bottom of the map, with luxurious swimming pools and palm trees.
Lastly, Eclipsed Estate is an imposing fortress that only the most skilled thieves should infiltrate. It can be spotted easily thanks to its signature crescent moon state at the rear of the building.
Kado Thorne has also taken up residency in Rumble Ruins, the Slap Juice factory, and even a tower in MEGA City, so these areas also have a fresh look after the update.

All removed locations in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Following the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 update, two named locations have been removed from the map to make for the new areas. Eclipsed Estates has replaced The Citadel, which is fitting since it means that this season’s villain, Kado Thorn, has built his home where Season 3’s was previously located.
Meanwhile, Lonely Labs has been swapped for Sanguine Suits in the top right-hand corner of the map. The change has overhauled the area, swapping the snowy landscapes of Lonely Labs for yellow beaches and green trees.
