Fortnite 30.30 update patch notes – Fall Guys event, Cybertruck, Deadpool & Wolverine
Epic GamesThe Fortnite 30.30 update is finally here and the penultimate update for Chapter 5 Season 3 has brought a lot of content, including teasers that lead up to Season 4.
The update has also ushered in the arrival of new cosmetics alongside the August Crew skin and the Fall Guys crossover. Here are the full patch notes of everything included.
Fall Guys crossover arrives in Fortnite 30.30 update
After multiple delays, the Fall Guys crossover has finally made its way to the game. As a part of the crossover, you can head into the Creative Mode right now and play the Fall Guys-themed obstacle courses.
You can design your own obstacle courses using brand-new assets that are related to the popular platformer BR. However, it’s worth noting that you will only be able to publish these maps after the Fortnite 30.40 update is available for everyone to download.
Dataminers also suggest that there’s also a new Fall Guys-themed minigame that could come to the Battle Royale at a later date.
New Cybertruck quests
The Cybertruck is finally in the game and will be available to everyone for free, provided you can complete the Summer Road Trip questline that was introduced with this update.
There are nine quests in total and you will have until August 6 to complete them all if you want to get your hands on all the cosmetic rewards apart from the Cybertruck.
New Cosmetics
The Wolverine & Deadpool skins and cosmetics are the main highlights of the Fortnite 30.30 patch. Although the skins are still encrypted, they will be available in the game at a later date.
That aside, you will also be able to purchase new cosmetics that are a part of the Adidas crossover. These skins have a lot of customization options available and each set is priced at 1500 V-Bucks.
Epic Games have added a new Galaxy skin too, which comes with its own Pickaxe and Backbling set, which is similar to the Galaxy and Nebula skins that have previously been seen in the Item Shop.
Most of the other cosmetics in the game have also received a Fall Guys Bean variant, but it’s likely that just like LEGO mode, these variants will be accessible on a map that is related to the crossover only.
While there are no major map changes in this new update and teasers for the new season are yet to be discovered, dataminers suggest that the Wastelanders will start building Nitro Pipes which will have a role to play in the live event that’ll possibly close out this season.
Although this update has brought new quests and free cosmetics for you to earn, be sure to complete all the Pirates of the Caribbean Quests which include destroying objects with the Ship in a Bottle Mythic.
