Halo Master Chief skin leaked for Fortnite
There is a plethora of new content in Fortnite Season 5 for you to explore. Now, some leaks are hinting at Master Chief from Halo joining the Battle Royale game as well. Here is everything we know about his arrival.
Fortnite Season 4 was marked by the inclusion of Marvel characters along with their powers, and now the Mandalorian is headlining the Season 5 Battle Pass. There are several new cosmetics, quests, and challenges for you to find in Season 5, but that’s not all.
While the new season focuses mainly on original content, it looks like Epic Games also has something up its sleeve for Halo fans. Some new leaks strongly indicate that Master Chief is coming to Fortnite Season 5, along with brand new Halo-themed cosmetics.
Here’s everything we know about Master Chief’s arrival in the game.
Is Master Chief coming to Fortnite?
The hype started when FNBRLeaks made a tweet that hinted at a potential Halo crossover. This post highlighted some new cosmetics and even a Red vs. Blue LTM, all with screenshots as proof. Now some more rumors are making rounds and boosting the hype.
Another tweet showcased a Master Chief outfit, along with a Lil’ Warthog Emote and a UNSC Pelican Glider. It seems that the Halo franchise’s iconic main character will soon be making his way to Fortnite. This closely follows another leak that teased the arrival of Kratos from God Of War.
When does Master Chief arrive in Fortnite?
We don’t have any confirmation from Fortnite or Bungie about whether Master Chief will truly be in Season 5. There is a theory that these skins will be console-based rewards, so Kratos will be available for PlayStation fans, while Master Chief goes to the Xbox version of the game.
If this theory is to be believed, then we should expect to see them both released around the same time. Fortnite Season 5 will continue until March 16, 2021, so we’ll know for sure long before then. The skins may be available for direct purchase from Fortnite’s in-game item store.
Master Chief’s arrival to the world of Fortnite is certain to spark the interest of fans from both franchises. This, along with the Kratos tease and Mandalorian skin, have made Season 5 even more interesting than we expected.
Keep in mind that these are still just rumors. We can’t know for sure until we hear from Epic Games or Bungie. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
