Fortnite OG continues its journey through Chapter 1 with the 27.10 update, bringing locations and weapons from the original Seasons 7 and 8. Here are the patch notes for the Fortnite 27.10 update.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG is in full swing, and players have been relishing the chance to relive the game’s greatest hits. The OG update transported fans back to the Chapter 1 Season 5 map before the November 9 hotfix moved the island along to Season 6.

Now, the 27.10 update has arrived to fast-forward the game through time again to another classic Fortnite era as the community eagerly awaits Chapter 5.

Fortnite 27.10 update brings Season 7 & 8 map changes

The Fortnite OG 27.10 update brings back the snow biome, as seen in Chapter 1 Seasons 7 and 8. This means that the Frosty Flights location has returned, as the southwestern corner of the island is once again covered in snow and ice.

However, other POIs from these seasons, such as the iconic Happy Hamlet, have not made a comeback in this update, as the devs have confirmed they will be mixing and matching from different eras.

Fortnite 27.10 update unvaulted weapons & vehicles

On top of another overhaul to the island, the Fortnite 27.10 update unvaulted a number of classic weapons. The Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher are among the returning favorites, with plenty of others joining them.

Players can also find some familiar vehicles, offering them new (or old) ways to get around the map. The X-4 Stormwing planes are available from Frosty Flights, while the Pirate Cannon lets fans launch themselves through the air.

“If you thought Chiller Traps were cold, Seasons 7 and 8 featured a snow biome and Frosty Flights. Pirate camps appeared on the Island following the pol-arrrr temperatures, and a range of swashbuckling gear was on the map to employ.”

Start blasting from the past with weapons like the Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher! 

More things will be unvaulted (and dug up) in v27.10, including the Poison Dart Trap, Itemized Glider Redeploy, and Buried Treasure. Note: the Poison Dart Trap will not be in Zero Build.
