Fortnite players suggest simple change to get rid of “irritating” invites
Epic GamesEven though players are quite intrigued by the new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, some of them have pointed out an issue in the game and are asking for a new feature for it.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has finally begun, making more and more players interested in exploring the new Greek mythology-inspired theme and keeping an eye out on the new mythic powers for those easy kills as well.
With several new POIs and boss fights in Season 2, Fortnite Chapter 5 has so far been quite favorable among the fans. However, some players could not help but point out an issue in the game and have requested the devs to put out a new feature to tackle it.
Reddit user ‘StrangeSPHERE’ posted about this on the Fortnite BR subreddit, as they asked: “Can we have an ‘appear offline’ feature? Sometimes I just want to play solo in peace without having people bothering me.”
Even though Fortnite has been around since 2017, some players are quite surprised that Epic Games have still not implemented this feature in the game. “How hard is it to implement this feature?? Seriously. It’s so frustrating to have people randomly jump into my party,” continued the OP.
“I don’t know why this isn’t a thing to begin with. It’s irritating when you just wanna play alone to have friends bombard you with invites,” argued a player while others said that a solo experience in Fortnite would help them to turn their brains off after a busy day.
“This is me. I want to play alone. With no one. And I’m always getting requests and then messages like really why won’t you accept?” said a player as well.
The offline feature is not a new request in Fortnite as many players have previously requested the devs to add this option as well. However, Epic Games are yet to address this issue explicitly and it remains to be seen how they tackle this problem.
