How to complete 100 damage Fortnite challenge with the Lever Action Rifle:
The Lever Action Rifle is an impressive weapon that has gotten popular during Fortnite Season 5. Here’s how you can get it, and then use it to complete the 100 damage challenge in Operation Snowdown.
Epic Games released the first update for Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 on December 15. The v15.50 update brought winter-themed skins, NPCs, and new Exotic weapons to the game. These were all added to the game in preparation for Operation Snowdown.
One Operation Snowdown Challenge requires you to use the Lever Action Rifle to deal 100 damage to enemies. This weapon has already won over fans, and here’s how you can find it then complete the challenge.
How to complete 100 damage Snowdown challenge
This challenge is easy enough to complete. Once you have acquired the Lever Action Rifle, you need to use it to dish out 100 damage to your foes. You can get this done with two shots to the body, or through one headshot.
You’ll have a better chance of completing this challenge quickly if you attempt it during Team Rumble or the Rally Royale LTM. This is because you’ll respawn after getting killed, which gives you multiple attempts to score some kills with the rifle.
Successful completion of the challenge will get you the Fish Fest Emoji. You can equip this and use it at any point when playing a match in Fortnite.
Where to find Fortnite’s Lever Action Rifle
The Lever Action Rifle comes in three variants. You can find the Rare and Uncommon variants without having to visit any NPCs. This makes it easier to acquire than the Exotic weapons of Season 5.
You can find both of these variants as floor loot or in chests. The Rare ones can also be collected from rare chests, or in supply drops. If you want to upgrade the Lever Action Rifle’s rarity then take it to an NPC who will upgrade it for you.
This semi-automatic Sniper Rifle uses Heavy Bullets, which allows it to dish out some serious pain. The uncommon variant deals 52 damage, while the rare dishes out 55. The Epic version is more powerful than both and is capable of dealing 58 damage.
The weapon seems like a crossover between the vaulted Infantry Rifle and Hunting Rifle. Although it’s a Sniper Rifle, it comes without a scope and behaves more like a shotgun. This is how the weapon got its name.
Completing nine Operation Snowdown quests will unlock the Snowmando skin, and completing 12 gets you the Frost Squad skin. You’ll have until January 5, 2021, to attempt these challenges.
