How to get Chains of Hades Mythic in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

The Chains of Hades is one of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2’s Mythics, so here’s how to get this weapon in the game to complete different Quests.

Hades is one of the many Greek gods players can face on the Fortnite island in Chapter 5 Season 2. What’s more, players can also get the Chains of Hades Mythic this season with some grapple hook capabilities and some interesting additional powers.

Here’s how to get the Chains of Hades Mythic in Fortnite and how to use it effectively during matches.

Where to find Chains of Hades Mythic in Fortnite

The Chains of Hades Mythic has been vaulted in Fortnite until May 3, 2024, when the Avatar crossover event ends. You won’t be able to get the powerful Mythic until then. When it’s back, you can get it by defeating Hades at the Underworld POI or by looting supply drops and chests.

To defeat Hades, here’s what you need to do:

1. Make your way to the Underworld POI.
2. Break the central statue to summon Hades.
3. You will have to face a few of his minions.
4. Upon defeating the minions Hades will appear and step off his throne, challenging you to a fight.

After you defeat him, you will be able to pick up not just his Mythic Harbinger SMG but the Chains of Hades as well.

How to use Chains of Hades in Fortnite

The Chains of Hades can be used to damage opponents in Fortnite. Here’s how to use it:

1. The Chains of Hades has two different attacks. One deals damage to your enemy while the other one allows you to pull them closer to you while also dealing damage.
2. To use the primary attack, press the Fire button.
3. To pull an enemy closer to you, press the aim down sight (ADS) button. This is a right-click on a mouse for PC players, and the LT/L2 button for Xbox and PlayStation players, respectively.
