Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 brings a new set of Medallions for you to track down, each with a unique effect that could help guide you to victory.

Marvel has taken over the map once again this season, introducing new locations to discover and a ton of powerful weapons. But, if you want to give yourself an edge over the competition you’ll need to get hold of a Medallion, so here’s the location of each one and what they do.

There are three different Medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, and the only way to get them is by challenging and eliminating different bosses around the island. Once you engage them, a health bar will appear at the top of the screen, and they will drop the token once defeated.

Reveal Medallion

The Reveal Medallion is found by defeating Emma Frost at The Raft. After landing at the prison, head towards the center of the location, and you’ll find the boss in a bright cocoon.

Once you fire the first shot, Frost will occasionally harden her skin by turning it into diamond. During this period, you’ll be unable to damage her with any of your weapons, so this is the ideal time to turn your attention to the many prison guards who join the fight.

Syphon Medallion

If you head to Castle Doom, you can hold of the Syhpon Medallion by beating the Doombot NPC. He can be found inside the main throne room, perched on a seat that’s made from the rocky body of Fantastic Four’s The Thing.

Doombot is arguably one of the easiest of the three to tackle, as he doesn’t have any unique mechanics aside from his AI guards. That being said, watch out for his repulsor blasts as they can quickly whittle down your health, so use Captain America’s Shield to block them.

Stealth Medallion

The third and final Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is Stealth, which can be earned from Mysterio in Doomstadt. You’ll find him slowly wandering the streets, but this changes drastically once you engage him.

This iconic Spider-Man villain uses his illusions to create extra versions of himself, which must all be defeated to earn the Medallion. We recommend taking this on as a squad, or by using long-range weapons to pick them off from a distance.

It’s worth noting that picking up a Medallion doesn’t take up any inventory space, instead it’s stored in the same place as your ammo. However, it will reveal your location on the map to enemy players, in the form of a large gold circle telling rival squads that you are somewhere within that area.

So, it’s up to you to decide whether the tradeoff is worth it. On one hand, teams can see you clearly on the map, but you also have one of three powerful abilities at your disposal, as the enemies have no way of knowing which one.

Best Medallion in Fortnite

The best Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is Siphon, earned by defeating the Doombot at Castle Doom. While the other options provide abilities that are extremely useful, being able to essentially heal mid-fight is hard to resist.

Not only does it allow you to scrape through fights that you would otherwise lose by stealing enemy health, it also means you can carry fewer healing items and free up an extra weapon slot.

On top of these new Medallions, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 also brings a Battle Pass full of skins to unlock, as well as new Marvel NPCs to meet and Quests to complete.
