Modding your vehicles in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 can be great for efficiently traversing the map and eliminating enemies. Here’s everything you need to know to mod vehicles in Fortnite.

Fortnite added many new elements and game mechanics in Chapter 5 Season 3, and players can now mod their vehicles. The post-apocalyptic theme allows players to add different attachments to new and returning cars to get an edge.

So, here’s how to mod cars in Fortnite, including all available mods.

How to mod car in Fortnite

To mod vehicles in Fortnite, players need to hit a Vehicle Mod Box with their car to attach the mod. Here’s what you need to do, step-by-step:

  1. Find a vehicle while exploring Fortnite’s island.
  2. Find a crate containing a vehicle mod.
  3. Hit the crate while driving your vehicle.

In Chapter 5 Season 3, vehicle mods are crates that spawn near named locations and Service Stations. If you approach a mod while on foot, a prompt will tell you to get a moddable vehicle to activate it.

Luckily for players, vehicles are a key element this season, so you won’t have to walk too much before you find one around.
