LEGO Fortnite lets you convince NPCs to help you gather materials, cook, and go on different adventures. But to do so, you’ll first need to get them to live in your village, so here’s how to recruit every villager in this game mode.

LEGO Fortnite asks players to build an entire village while foraging items, crafting tools, and gathering materials to survive the different Biomes. If you want some help to do so, you can recruit villagers to live with you while sharing some of your chores.

Recruiting villagers isn’t complicated, but you’ll need to prepare and even upgrade your village to do so. While you don’t get to choose who’s going to appear near your Village Square, you should be ready to recruit them as soon as they appear.

Here’s what you need to do to recruit villagers in LEGO Fortnite:

You can meet lots of NPCs that you can recruit near the Village Square in LEGO Fortnite.

Build a Village Square. You’ll need 10 Wood and 10 Granite to build, which you can easily find lying around the map close to where you first spawn.
While days pass by, you’ll find several characters wandering around near the Village Square.
If you interact with them, you can easily ask them to join your village.
You’ll need a bed for each villager you recruit, that can be built with 10 Wood.
After you recruit the new villager, keep in mind that you’ll need to assign them a bed manually.

Some villagers in LEGO Fortnite will say that your town doesn’t suit their needs, which means that you’ll need to upgrade your Village. If you do so, you’ll be able to recruit more people and get better rewards while doing chores.

How many villagers can you have in LEGO Fortnite?

You can have up to five villagers in your LEGO Fortnite village. If you want to recruit more, you’ll have to build a whole new town to house new villagers.

There are up to 39 recruitable villagers reported so far in LEGO Fortnite.

Keep in mind that you’ll be able to recruit only 15 villagers per world, so you will need to create a whole new map to get more NPCs.
