Mandalorian is shooting Fortnite players before they land

The Mandalorian has been a fine addition to Fortnite Season 5, but the bounty hunter seems to be taking his job too seriously as players are being shot out the sky before they can even start playing.

Fortnite has seen its fair share of crossovers over the years, but Season 5 took it to a whole other level as we’ve seen additions from franchises like Halo, God of War, Predator, and many others. However, it was The Mandalorian that headlined the Battle Pass.

The bounty hunter came with his own set of cosmetics, quests, and a neat Amban Sniper Rifle which he can use to dish out some serious pain. However, it seems that Mando is ruining games before they start by shooting players out of the sky.

The Mandalorian is hunting down Fortnite players

Reddit user xZ888Zx posted a clip in the FortniteBR subreddit, showing them jumping into the map at the start of a match. However, their playthrough didn’t last long as they were immediately shot down before they could touch the ground.

It wasn’t another player who eliminated them either, as they were picked off by the Mandalorian himself. Surprisingly, the AI picked them off so quickly that they didn’t have a chance to get started, and this left the commenters Dumbfounded.

“The Mandalorian sniped me before the game even started,” they posted, and other players in the comments shared their confusion with what just happened.

One of the comments offered a potential fix that Epic Games could apply for this problem: “I still think we should have invulnerability when gliding at the start of the match. It’s so annoying being shot out of the air or losing half your health before you even land.”

While we’ve gone over how to defeat Mando before, but it’s difficult to take him down if you don’t get the chance to even touch the ground. This serves as a reminder of how dangerous The Mandalorian can be, so you should try not to land close to him.

Hopefully, Epic Games will take notice of this issue, and apply a fix for it soon since this can ruin the game for anyone unfortunate enough to cross paths with the bounty hunter. If they announce anything, then we’ll be sure to update you.
