New animals leaked for Fortnite Season 7: Kangaroos, Octopuses & more
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is almost here, some of the upcoming content has been revealed by data miners, including new animals like Kangaroos, Octopuses, and Platypus’.
Chapter 2 Season 6 of Fortnite had a Primal theme and brought various new additions for fans to enjoy. This included new skins, a crafting system, and tamable wild animals. Now, Season 7 is just around the corner, and there has been a ton of speculation about what Epic Games have planned for the next big update.
There are plenty of hints of a possible alien invasion, and some new leaks have also revealed that new animals will be coming to the Island.
This leak came from Fortnite data miner LunakisLeaks, who also alluded to the arrival of aliens in Fortnite Season 7. In the same Tweet, the leaker also listed a few new animals that will join the battle royale.
Season 6 introduced boars, wild wolves, and chickens to the game. We also saw the addition of tamable Raptors across the map.
According to this new leak, Season 7 will add:
- Kangaroos
- Octopuses
- Platypus’
It’s not clear how Epic Games plan to integrate these creatures into the Island, but we expect new desert areas for the Kangaroos to roam around in.
Octopuses will obviously be placed underwater along the shoreline, while the Platypus’ will most likely rest near smaller areas like Lazy Lake, but we don’t expect this to hint at the arrival of Perry the Platypus in Fortnite.
It’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, and this information has yet to be confirmed by Epic Games themselves. So, be sure to take all this with a grain of salt.
As more information gets leaked about Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, data miners will likely reveal more about these animals, along with any of the new maps that will be added to the game.
