LEGO Fortnite has plenty of resources to discover scattered around its maps. Copper can be tricky to find, but you’ll need it if you want to craft Copper Bars to make durable tools and weapons. Here’s how to find it in LEGO Fortnite.

Epic Games encourages LEGO Fortnite players to get every resource and material they can find in their randomly generated maps. While some can be used to craft charms and weapons, others are essential to upgrade your village.

Copper is a resource that can only be found in a specific Biome, and it’s obviously key to crafting Copper Bars. If you want to know where to look for it, here’s everything you need to know about Copper in LEGO Fortnite.

LEGO Fortnite: Where to find Copper?

To get Copper in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to start exploring the Dry Valley Biome and look for Lava Caves. After entering a Lava Cave, you’ll find rocks that have some bronze-colored ores encrusted.

Keep in mind that exploring Lava Caves can be dangerous, so try to stay cool by using Cool-Headed Charms and eating meals that give you heat resistance, like the Snowberry Shake.

To get the Copper out of the rocks, you’ll need a Rare Pickaxe. If you haven’t got one, here’s how to craft a Rare Pickaxe in LEGO Fortnite:

You’ll find Brightcore, Copper and Obsidian inside Lava Caves in the Dry Valley Biome.

Build a Crafting Bench. You’ll need to gather 3x Wood and 5x Granite to craft one.
Upgrade your Crafting Bench. First, you’ll need to get to the Uncommon Level, and you’ll need 3x Knotroot Rods and 3x Bone.
After upgrading your Crafting Bench to Rare Level, you’ll be able to upgrade it to Rare Level. You’ll need you’ll need 3x Flexwood Rods and 3x Sand Claws.
After upgrading your Crafting Bench to the Rare level, you’ll be able to get into its menu and craft a Rare Pickaxe with 3x Sand Claw and 3x Flexwood Rods.

LEGO Fortnite: How to make Copper bars

To make Copper bars in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll first need to build a Metal Smelter. This Utility will allow you to melt and mix different metals and will be unlocked after reaching Level 9 in your village. After unlocking the recipe, you’ll need 15x Brightcore, 35x Obsidian Slab, and 3x Blast Core to build a Metal Smelter.

If you want to get a Copper Bar, you will also need to gather 1x Copper and 2x Brightcore in a Lava Cave. Once you gather all the ingredients, you can put them into the Metal Smelter to finally get one.

It’s worth noting that you can also give one of your villagers the task of melting metals once you reach Level 9 and have a Metal Smelter available in your village. This will give you a steady supply of Copper Bars to use.
