Fastest cars in Forza Motorsport: 10 highest top speeds
Turn 10 StudiosForza Motorsport is all about mastering every inch of the track and carefully nailing each turn. But nothing beats the thrill of zooming down a straight as the path ahead gets increasingly blurry. With this in mind, here are the fastest cars in Forza Motorsport.
Forza Motorsport offers over 500 cars to pick from. The game’s impressive car list features vehicles from different classes, all of which come with unique attributes. While some prioritise handling others are packed with pace and can speed through tracks effortlessly.
It’s important to keep in mind that the fastest vehicles aren’t necessarily the best performing as you won’t always get enough straight lanes in Forza Motorsport. However, they certainly are pretty fun to drive.
On that note, Here are the ten fastest cars in Forza Motorsport.
Top 10 fastest cars in Forza Motorsport
The fastest car in Forza Motorsport is the 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko, followed by the Bugatti Chiron. Here’s the list of all the fastest wheels in the game:
#1. 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko
Always a contender among the quickest, the Koenigsegg Jesko is the fastest car in Forza Motorsport. On paper, the 2019 Bugatti Divo is billed to be the fastest with a 10 Speed Rating and 8.9 Acceleration, but in terms of sheer speed, Koenigsegg nets a higher upper limit than the Divo, making it the fastest car available in the game.
In Forza Motorsport, the Jesko has a Speed Rating of 10, shared with the Bugatti Divo, Bugatti Chiron, and Koenigsegg Agera RS. The Jesko’s acceleration is 7.8, which isn’t bad, and it can fetch a top speed of 439 kmh (273mph).
#2. 2018 Bugatti Chiron
The 2018 Bugatti Chiron is the second-fastest car in Forza Motorsport. In terms of maximum speed, it is only 2–3 mph or so slower than Koenigsegg. Although the Bugatti has a much higher acceleration, which means at stock it’ll reach its potential faster, it falls short in terms of handling and break.
Forza Motorsport is soft-limited to a speed of 270mph; it is hard to push beyond the set barrier. It has been the cap since earlier games, and it continues with Forza Motorsport as well. The Bugatti Chiron hits the max cap in straight lanes, but it doesn’t record higher, which the Koenigsegg Jesko surprisingly does.
#3. 2017 Koenigsegg Agera RS
As expected, the list is dominated by Koenigsegg and Bugatti, with the Agera RS being the third fastest car in Forza Motorsport. On paper, it is billed exactly the same —10 Speed Rating and 7.8 Acceleration — as the Jesko, but it doesn’t get past 259mph.
In a straight lane, it is a touch slower than the Chiron, but with 1.0 less acceleration, it will take time to get there. If you’re after the fastest wheel, there is little reason to pick the Agera over the Jesko, and the only edge the Agera has is that it is 20,000 Credits cheaper.
#4. 2019 Bugatti Divo
There is a marginal 0.1 acceleration difference between the Divo and Chiron in favor of the 2019 Bugatti Divo in Forza Motorsport. In general racing, the difference won’t be as big so you’re free to choose whatever you prefer. But the digits with the Divo are less likely to linger around 270mph than it is with the Chiron, so the Divo sits in fourth place on the list.
Practically, the 2019 Bugatti Divo is the fastest in terms of getting to max speed (at stock) from 0. That’s because it has the best acceleration of all cars on this list — an 8.9 Acceleration rating. However, its max speed cap, so far, has been much shorter than the Koenigsegg and its Chiron sibling.
#5. 2021 Rimac Nevera
The 2021 Rimac Nevera is the fifth fastest car in Forza Motorsport and touches around 258mph maximum. It is all electric and is restrictive in terms of tuning potential in Forza Motorsport, but if you’re tired of Koenigsegg and Bugatti, the Rimac is your best bet to get closer to the maximum potential speed.
Be warned, however, despite a speed rating of 9.4 and an amazing potential for max speed, the overall performance of the Rimac is underwhelming compared to others in this list. The Rimac’s acceleration is only 4.3 which means most of the time you’re not hitting the 258mph. Other stats like handling and braking, leave much to be desired.
#6. 2013 McLaren P1
The 2013 McLaren P1 is pretty fast with a speed rating of 9.7 and an excellent 7.8 acceleration in Forza Motorsport. In terms of potential, it can fetch you 250mph on a good straight lane and because it has good acceleration, you won’t have to wait for too long like the Rimac Nevera.
The P1’s performance is in line with how it has performed historically across Forza franchises, always managing to hit around 250mph at top speed. Across Forza Motorsport and its open-world arcade sim series, Horizon, the McLaren P1 has consistently made the list of fastest cars in a given game.
#7. 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020
The 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 is the solitary car from the British manufacturers to be featured in Forza Motorsport. Luckily, though, if you’re a big fan of Ultima Sports, you’ll be satisfied by this beast.
The Ultima Evo touches a good top speed of 245mph, which is just 5 mph slower than the P1, and has a higher index rating along with better handling. So it isn’t too unreasonable if you pick the Ultima Evo over the P1, even if you’re after top speed.
#8. 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast
It would be odd if the Ferrari was absent from a list of fastest cars in Forza Motorsport, and super odd if a car titled “superfast” wasn’t actually superfast. The 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast has a speed rating of 9.2, an upgrade from last game’s 8.1 rating, and touches 240mph in terms of highest speed.
Even though it is rapid, you’ll be bummed out a little when you see other stats for the Ferrari 812. Its handling is passable at 4.1 and acceleration is 6.6, which is decent. On a positive note, you don’t have to cough out too much as it is only 327,000 — cheaper than most wheels on this list.
#9. 1987 Porsche #17 AG 962C
A Porsche also gets its name on the list of the fastest cars in Forza Motorsport and it wouldn’t be anything other than the 962C.
The race car nets a top speed of 238mph, which isn’t that far off from the #8 car on this list, the 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast. Other Porsche cars aren’t that speedy in the game, so the 1987 is probably the best pick to compete in the higher-echelon events in Forza Motorsport.
#10. 1993 McLaren F1
The McLaren F1 and Porsche are the two oldest wheels on this list. For the McLaren F1, the speed rating is 9.2, which is extremely good and the acceleration is a bit on the lower side at 5.3. But cut it some slack, that thing has been alive and kicking for three decades. Most would find themselves in a salvage yard by now.
Nonetheless, the McLaren F1 is pretty good, runs fast, and looks neat. A perfect car to round up the 10 fastest cars in Forza Motorsport.
