Four best DMR alternatives for Warzone Season 1

Tired of being in a lobby of 150 DMRs? Well, take a look at the four best DMR alternatives for Warzone Season 1.

Despite the long-awaited nerf of the DMR-14 in Warzone, players feel that it’s still overpowered and is far too easy to use. If you want a viable alternative to make Warzone Season 1 interesting again, here are four of the best guns for you to try out.

Warzone’s META was well and truly demolished by the introduction of the DMR-14 as its pinpoint accuracy, abundance of firepower, and minimal recoil made it unstoppable.

In response to the weapon’s overpowered nature, Activision Blizzard promised a nerf, and they delivered a nerf. But that nerf hasn’t proved to be as substantial as first thought and players are still unhappy with the DMR.

If you fancy something a bit different and want a greater challenge, then take a look at these DMR alternatives.

4 best DMR Warzone alternatives

Kilo 141

Until the DMR decided to steal the spotlight, the Kilo 141 was arguably THE weapon of choice for most players. It’s just an extremely reliable Assault Rifle with a whole host of benefits.

Its high damage output can be matched by attachments that increase its accuracy and reduce its recoil. It has few weaknesses and has been vouched for by many popular CoD influencers.

Here are the best Kilo 141 loadout to use in Warzone & Modern Warfare.

One of the most recent additions to Warzone, the XM4 arrives via the Black Ops Cold War integration and maintains its all-around versatility.

Similar to the Kilo 141, the XM4 suffers a bit at range, and given that Warzone’s map is gigantic and requires some long-distance engagements, a few attachments should sort its range out.

Grau 5.56

The Kilo 141 is one of the more recent success stories in Warzone, but the Grau was one of the originators of Warzone metabreaking.

Its nerf marginally reduced its damage output, but this can be amended thanks to the right attachments anyway. Perhaps give it a go and see if it still holds up enough to make a comeback.

It’s not quite an Assault Rifle, but it still has lots of those punishing qualities that make the Kar98k a game-winner.

Its potential to one-shot enemies is a must-have quality and the skill required to use it is higher than that of the DMR. If you fancy a change and want to test your ability, then give the Kar98k a whirl.

This list has hopefully opened your eyes and made you realize that there’s a whole world outside of the DMR-14.

The nerf’s reception obviously isn’t as great as I’m sure Activison Blizzard were looking for, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that it recieves another update sometime soon.

Strange Warzone Restock perk bug gives unlimited trophy systems

A strange new Warzone bug is causing players who use the Restock perk to receive unlimited Trophy Systems.

Restock perk in Warzone

Warzone has its fair share of bugs and a strange new one has been discovered which is giving players that use the Restock perk unlimited trophy systems.

Warzone perks give you an advantage in combat, such as allowing you to run faster or endure damage from explosives. Some new ones were also announced as part of the Season 4 Reloaded update.

Restock is a perk that provides you with new equipment every 50 seconds. While it isn’t the most popular pick, a new bug has made this perk more beneficial since its granting unlimited trophy systems.

Twitch streamer ‘its_iron’ was using the Restock perk with Claymores in a match of Warzone when he discovered something strange. The game had given him something other than what he had selected.

When the player went to throw down a Claymore, he ended up placing a Trophy System instead. After 50 seconds, his lethal was recharged by the Restock perk, and he tried this tactic again.

After attempting to place a Claymore once more, he was surprised to see another Trophy System being thrown down instead.

Trophies are field upgrades that you can obtain as ground loot or crates in Verdansk. This is even more confusing when you consider that the Trophy System is not part of the “Lethal” class in Warzone.

We currently don’t know what exactly is causing this bug to occur, but you should avoid using the Restock perk for a while. Hopefully, the developers will add a fix for this issue in the near future.

Activision are always ready to add bug fixes along with new additions to the game. They’ve already planned an FOV slider for Warzone on console.

Amazing Warzone glitch turns Rebirth Island into a neon disco

A Warzone player was subjected to a cool glitch in which Rebirth Island turned into a complete glowing disco.

rebirth island disco

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island was unexpectedly turned into a full-on disco during one player’s game, with the glitch turning Alcatraz into something far more welcoming.

Rebirth Island has extremely similar vibes to the world-famous Alcatraz prison, and as such, makes for the perfect setting for a battle royale game. The game mode is very popular in Warzone, with people like NICKMERCS enjoying the mode more than battle royale at times.

A glitch has turned the intimidating island into something more pleasing on the eye though. Attempting to drop onto the location, one player’s version of Rebirth Island was given a rather bright makeover as a weird glitch turned the infamous land into a disco, dancing paradise.

Reddit user ItsNotAlex is the player that reported the Rebirth glitch, and their video showed just how insane the visual actually was.

As they parachuted into Rebirth Island, practically every building was glowing with a distinct neon aura. The player’s weapon, trees, and anything you can think of were illuminated by a vast array of colors.

They spent all of their pre-lobby time trying to get kills and take in their unusual scenery before the match started.

It’s one of the first recognized instances of this happening in Warzone, with Black Ops Cold War being quite experienced in this department.

Previously, Cold War has had its own disco room in Outbreak and even turned a complete section of Raid into Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road.

It’s not the worst glitch in the world to experience in Warzone with God Mode glitches and invisibility glitches being far worse. With how rare texture glitches like these are it’s probably best not to worry too much about it being a regular thing.

Warzone players call for popular Apex Legends feature to be added

Some Warzone players are calling for the developers to implement a feature from Apex Legends, which involves player K/D ratios.

apex legends and Warzone k/d

With both Warzone and Apex Legends being extremely popular battle royales, of course, people are going to compare them, with some calling for a feature from Respawn’s game to be added in Warzone.

With the recent news surrounding Apex Legends’ upcoming season, some Warzone players may have been intrigued to check the game out and give it a shot, especially as CouRageJD recently stated that Apex was the best battle royale currently available.

In doing so, players may have noticed differences, not just in gameplay, but also in the stats and recordings of player progression, which some players want for Warzone.

Reddit user and Warzone player Excellent_Pass3746 posted his opinion online of which specific Apex Legends feature they would like to see in Warzone.

The post is entitled “KD should reset every season (Or at least show your KD for each season)”

This is a feature that is currently in Apex Legends, however, it doesn’t reset, it simply shows you your K/D for each season, while also showing your overall K/D from every season combined.

This would be great for Warzone, as then players can look back and see how much they have progressed, while also seeing how much of an effect each season’s K/D has on the overall number.

The argument presented is that players would like to see this progression and improvement, and not be defined by their K/D that got off to a bad start when they were learning the game.

Experienced Call of Duty players may have taken to Warzone much faster then those who are new to the franchise, thus this change would be a nice quality-of-life update for players.

Fans in the comments also agree, as although there are alternatives out there for checking your K/D monthly on Warzone, it “would be nice to have it on the game.”
