Zipline in Black Ops Cold War

Black Ops Cold War’s new Mauer Der Toten map has taken the Zombie-slaying action to the streets of Berlin, but it’s being plagued by a zipline bug that’s instantly eliminating players.

Mauer Der Toten is finally here, and it has brought plenty of new Zombies content to Black Ops Cold War. This includes buffs to Zombies weapons, new weapons, the LT53 Kazimir GrenadeCRBR-S Wonder Weapon, and the return of the Mule Kick Perk.

However, the latest Zombies map hasn’t arrived without its share of problems. Some Cold War players have reported that the game eliminated them for seemingly no reason, right after they used the in-game ziplines.

Reddit user callinat6800points posted a clip showcasing this bug in the CoD Zombies subreddit. The player was in round 88 of Mauer Der Toten when they used a zipline with some unexpected results.

Immediately after reaching an elevated position, the player was presented with a “Game Over” screen, letting them know that they had been killed. This was confusing, as there were no Zombies, and they hadn’t taken damage.

The game instantly killed them off as soon as they reached the top, and this left many of the users in the comments completely bewildered as well.

When you’re in Zombies mode, you’ll often find yourself overwhelmed by large hoards of the undead, and you’ll have to use ziplines will get out of sticky situations. Some of the users in the comments have also experienced this bug.

“This exact same thing happened to me after rappelling on the other building,” wrote one user. “I’m not sure what triggered it besides the rappel because my audio disconnected as soon as I did that.”

Considering how vital ziplines are to your survival in Mauer Der Toten, we hope that the devs will issue a fix for this bug soon.
