Frustrating Warzone Gas Mask glitch is costing players wins

A frustrating Gas Mask HUD bug is making Warzone Pacific Season 3 players rage, as it causes them to lose the game.

Warzone players are frustrated with the state of the game, as a new Gas Mask glitch is causing a HUD bug that is costing players wins.

With Warzone Pacific Season 3 finally dropping, players have finally been given some brand new content to enjoy, such as two new weapons and some changes to the Caldera map.

Having said that, the new update seems to have brought more bugs and glitches to the table. Some new bugs are even preventing players from winning games due to Gas Masks causing issues with the HUD.

Warzone Pacific Operator wearing Gas Mask

When it comes to the last few squads left in a match, things can get intense, and players may have to come up with some high IQ strategies to win.

A lot of the time, a great way to see a game out is staying in the zone with your Gas Mask and jumping out at your opponents when they least expect it.

Despite fixing the Gas Mask animation in the Season 3 update, this strategy has been stifled by a new “HUD bug” that Reddit user phenomzye has highlighted on the Warzone subreddit.

As you can see from the clip, the player seemingly has a fully healed Gas Mask before they enter the zone. However, once they take one hit from the gas, the mask goes straight down to low durability and breaks, leaving them exposed to damage.

This ultimately cost the player a “14 kill game,” and others in the comments shared similar experiences.

One user stated, “Literally happened to me just now and I was questioning myself whether it was full or not.”

Apparently, there is a way players can check to see whether their Gas Mask is full or not, as one of the comments suggests that you can double-check in the drop menu, and even drop the mask to check it again.

Hopefully, Raven Software can fix this issue as soon as possible, for now, check out the best Warzone close-range meta weapon for Season 3 according to JGOD.

Warzone Pacific players have been enjoying the new Squad HUD feature which came with the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some calling it “amazing.”

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is finally here, and while players are getting to grips with the new Underground Transit System on Caldera, some are also very satisfied with the new Squad HUD feature.

This new feature gives players a clear view of the team’s resources, including the Killstreaks they are holding, the amount of money, the number of Armor Plates they are carrying, and also if they have a Gas Mask.

Although it seems like a small feature, the community is loving it, with some even describing it as “amazing.”

Reddit user Mobile750APKStore put a post up in the Warzone subreddit highlighting the new expandable Squad HUD in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded.

The feature is a nice quality of life change that gives players a better view of their teammates’ resources. This will improve the communication and flow of the game, as players will easily be able to see what their squad needs, without even having to ask or wait for a response.

The community has been reacting to this new feature in the comments of this Reddit post, with one user stating that the Squad HUD is “amazing.” In the same breath, the user hilariously also claims that it is a hindrance when it comes to lying about the number of plates you have:

“This is amazing…But now I can’t lie to my teammates about having no plates :(.”

Of course, this is actually great when it comes to teamwork, as players who lie about the number of plates they have can now be caught out and will be encouraged to share with the team.

Aside from the comedic comment, others also seem very happy with the new feature, especially as it has been asked for by the community in the past. One comment said, “I remember seeing that post and loving it. Thrilled to see that it’s become a reality.”

Hopefully Raven can continue to bring features like this to the game and make players happy. For more, check out how the brand new Champion of Caldera LTM works.

Call of Duty players are terrified that last-gen consoles will ruin Warzone 2

Fans of the battle royale are concerned that Warzone 2’s potential compatibility with last-gen consoles could ruin the game.

Warzone 2 PS4 Xbox One

Players are hoping that the highly anticipated sequel does not include past-gen compatibility, as they fear this could completely ruin the Warzone 2 experience for current-gen users.

The next Call of Duty era is right around the corner, and excitement for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has begun to mount ahead of June 2022. Leaks have revealed several details of the battle royale sequel including a new interrogation system and a sneak peek at what the map could look like.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive reaction at this early stage, there are players who are wary of yet to be confirmed aspects of Warzone 2. One of these unknowns is the result of the game’s compatibility with past-gen consoles.

Ghost in Call of Duty Warzone

As it stands, there has not been confirmation concerning Warzone 2’s compatibility with past-gen consoles. While we know for sure that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, past-gen compatibility has not been confirmed.

However, thanks to Vanguard in-game files, data miners discovered that Modern Warfare 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This reveal did not sit well with players who took to the Warzone subreddit to discuss the repercussions of a similar experience for Warzone 2.

The player who wrote the original post believes that the overall performance and quality of Warzone 2 could suffer if it has to cater to past-gen hardware. This player is worried that the same limitations holding the current iteration of Warzone back could also plague the sequel.

The comments proved that players were completely split on the issue. Some point to the shortage of current-gen consoles as a valid reason for making Warzone 2 accessible to all, “isolating people cause they don’t have new consoles is stupid and not enough people are on new gen consoles anyway.”

While others had less sympathy, stating that at a certain point developers need to move the overall experience to the next level, “once the new s*** comes out, you need the new console for the new experience and the better graphics etc.”

Early reports from renowned leaker Tom Henderson initially revealed that Warzone 2 would only release on current-gen consoles and PC, but he did not rule out the possibility of a separate version for past-gen players. This solution is similar to what the original post details, but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from the devs to find out if this is even possible.

Warzone Pacific’s Season 3 Reloaded update is here, bringing game-changing updates to CoD’s battle royale. Of course, it also brings a ton of weapon balance changes, so here’s every weapon buff and nerf in Season 3 Reloaded.

Warzone has just received one of its most game-changing updates ever, with the Season 3 Reloaded update bringing in the highly-requested squad HUD overhaul, the health update to Rebirth Island, reduction of the player count, and more.

Weapon balance is always a focus for these updates, and Raven Software have adjusted almost every weapon class — buffing some underused weapons and nerfing the most popular.

There are a ton of changes to go through, so here’s every weapon buff and nerf made in Warzone Pacific’s Season 3 Reloaded update.

XM4 Assault Rifle in call of duty warzone

Assault Rifle buffs & nerfs in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Both Vanguard’s BAR and NZ-41 have received some major buffs in the Season 3 Reloaded update, with even more Cold War Assault Rifles hit by nerfs.

The BAR has had both its headshot multiplier buffed and its magazine size increased, so you’ll find the weapon much more forgiving. Plus, the NZ-41 now has a much more forgiving recoil pattern and higher bullet velocity, so it’ll now be a much more worthwhile pick.

Black Ops Cold War’s AK-47 will now deal less damage to the neck, and the fan-favorite XM4 has had both its damage and range nerfed. But, the Vargo 52 received a buff, so it might be the next meta pick.

Owen Gun in Call of Duty Warzone

Owen Gun nerfed again in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Alongside nerfing the Milano 821 and the OTs 9, the Owen Gun has been nerfed once again in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded.

Its extremities damage multiplier has taken a hit, and so has its damage range. Plus, its Gorenko magazine’s fire rate has been nerfed as well, lowering its TTK. The Armaguerra has received a “Slight reduction to initial recoil,” so it may take the Owen Gun’s place for the rest of Season 3 Reloaded.
