The notorious map clipping exploit on Rebirth Island has returned to Call of Duty: Warzone, with players abusing it to get underneath the map and take out their unsuspecting opponents.
Warzone fans are no strangers to strange glitches, as Rebirth Island was plagued by map-clipping exploits for months. Cheaters often took advantage of this, and Raven Software issued a fix for it in the Season 2 Reloaded update.
Despite this, the infamous glitch has returned, allowing players to sneak underneath the map close to the Chemical Engineering POI. Now, players are exploiting kill and loot without worrying about getting shot.
Reddit user MrMakaveli shared a clip of this exploit in the CoD: Warzone subreddit. It showcased the player in the midst of a battle at Decon Zone, and they got beamed to death by an unseen enemy as they were helping their teammate.
This left the player bewildered, as they had no idea how they had been killed. However, the kill cam then revealed that the enemy was underneath the ground, so there was no way for the player to see the attack coming.
While this exploit was supposed to have been fixed in the Season 2 Reloaded update, it was present in the clip which was posted on April 10, weeks after the update.
Although there’s no guarantee that this is the same map clipping exploit as before, it seems remarkably similar. The biggest indicator that they’re one and the same is the location that is seen in the clip.
The original wall-breach often happened at the corner of Chem Eng, which is near the Bioweapon Labs. The cheater in the video was very close to this location, at the northeastern corner of Rebirth Island.
At the time of writing, Raven Software’s Trello board hasn’t been updated with the exploit’s return, but we’ll keep checking for any new developments. Hopefully, they’ll come up with a permanent fix soon.

CoD Warzone 2: Leaks, rumors, platforms & release window
Activision are reportedly developing Warzone 2, so here’s everything we know about the rumored sequel to CoD’s battle royale.
While Call of Duty: Warzone has just undergone its huge Pacific overhaul, there are reports that Activision are developing ‘Warzone 2.’ Here’s everything we know about Warzone 2, the rumored sequel to CoD’s hit battle royale.
Call of Duty: Warzone will soon hit its third year, and the game has changed significantly since its March 2020 release. Every weapon from Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard has arrived, Verdansk was nuked and given a 1980’s overhaul, and now the game takes place in the Pacific.
But it appears that Activision are looking at moving the battle royale title on further, with Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reporting that “a new iteration of Call of Duty Warzone” is in the works.
Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
- What is Call of Duty: Warzone 2?
- When could Warzone 2 release?
- Warzone 2 platforms
- Warzone 2 gameplay
- Will Warzone still exist after Warzone 2 releases?
What is Call of Duty: Warzone 2?
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is the rumored sequel to CoD’s hit battle royale, where it’s reported to be “a completely new game” with “no past weapon integrations.”
Warzone’s sequel was first reported by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier and corroborated by well-known industry insider Tom Henderson. Henderson has called Warzone 2 a “clean slate,” meaning it’s a brand-new game without any content from previous CoD games.
Henderson said there’s no guarantee that it will be officially titled ‘Warzone 2’ though, this is just what it’s being called in these early stages. He explained that it’s possible Warzone 2 will just be called ‘Warzone’ and the original Warzone will be dubbed ‘Warzone Legacy.’
When could Warzone 2 release?
Schreier reported that Warzone 2 is on track for a 2023 release, which puts it at three years after Warzone’s original launch.
However, Tom Henderson has heard different. He explained on January 27 that: “It’s [Infinity Ward’s] Warzone map that is set to be a ‘clean slate’ for Warzone and was scheduled to release in Holiday 22.”
“This map was last mentioned to release in Holiday 22 just 6 weeks ago, indicating things are being shaken up if this is the ‘Warzone 2’ that was being referenced in the Bloomberg report,” he continued.
It sounds like Warzone 2 will be attached to 2022’s Modern Warfare II in the same way that the original Warzone was released alongside Modern Warfare (2019). But it remains to be seen whether this Holiday 2022 release date will be stuck to.
Warzone 2 platforms
According to Tom Henderson, Warzone 2 will only be on current-gen and PC, which means it will release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, he said there’s a “possibility” that it will also release on previous-gen consoles too.
While Warzone 2 will be a “completely new game for better hardware,” he said it’s possible that they will release a separate previous-gen version without cross-generation play. DICE did a similar thing with Battlefield 2042, where previous-gen consoles received a scaled-back version.
We would expect improved visuals, and maybe even the highly-requested FOV slider on next-gen consoles. He said that “it’s believed this move is to finally move over to current-gen hardware in the best way possible.”
Warzone 2 gameplay
We’re completely in the dark about what Warzone 2’s gameplay will be like, but Henderson said that it will be a “clean slate” which means “starting again, scrapping everything like weapons, operators etc.”
He said that “Warzone 2 is basically a new COD title,” and players should “look at it as a sequel.” This will likely mean everything is brand-new, including weapons, Operators, Perks, and Killstreaks.
Will Warzone still exist after Warzone 2 releases?
According to Tom Henderson, the original Warzone will still be around after Warzone 2 releases.
He said that the “Original Warzone with MW, BOCW, and Vanguard still remains,” and “you keep all your progression, purchases etc.” He also understands that this ‘Warzone Legacy’ will still be supported.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: Release date, details, rumors, new studio
Activision has hinted that Call of Duty: Warzone could be set for its own individual game on mobile. We have all the latest news and rumors.
CoD: Mobile has been extremely successful, and now Activision are looking to make a mobile version of Warzone. Here’s everything we know about it, including its potential release date, new information, and more.
CoD: Mobile is also massively successful, and now the developers are looking to make another hand-held title. They have plans to make a fully-fledged Warzone game that will be available on mobile.
Here’s everything we know about Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile so far.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile release date
The latest updates on the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile project suggest that the handheld battle royale game could see a release as early as 2022.
Renowned video game leaker Tom Henderson announced the revelation in a December 7 Tweet saying: “Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is scoped for 2022. It was recently added to the PlaytestCloud database.”

It was back in March 2021 that Activision sent out a survey asking Call of Duty: Mobile players if they’d like to see Verdansk come to the handheld CoD game.
Since Verdansk has been replaced with the Caldera map in Warzone Pacific, we will most likely see players exploring that Island instead when the mobile version of the game finally comes out.
It’s entirely possible that the game has been in development for some time already. There’s also the obvious positive in that Warzone already exists, so the devs already know what works, what doesn’t, and how to transition it to handheld devices.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile details & new studio
The topic of conversation was really put under the spotlight when Activision announced in a LinkedIn post that, “Activision Mobile has put up new roles! Teams are focused on Live Operations and content expansion across CoD Mobile and Warzone.”
The official website advertised for over 50 roles with many geared towards “a new mobile title.” It’s possible that Activision wants this knowledge to become more public to counteract the rival title from EA / DICE – Battlefield Mobile.
If we go even further back to September 2020, we can see that Activision was recruiting for an “Executive Producer, Features” for a project called “WZM.” This further supports the idea that they’ve had this idea in the pipeline for some time.
June 7, 2021, saw a new job listing for a Mobile Producer at a new Mobile dedicated development studio appear with the job listing stating that the role will be working on a “new AAA mobile game in the Call of Duty franchise.”

It has not yet been confirmed that this role and the new studio will be working on the rumored Warzone Mobile game, but it would make sense considering that it fits the bill for being a AAA game in the franchise.
Furthermore, ModernWarzone reported that the most recent Activision Investor Call featured an interesting comment saying: “Call of Duty is getting a new mobile brand that they believe will take the franchise to new heights.”
On January 28, 2022, the mobile games developer, Digital Legends Entertainment tweeted that they’re looking for talented people to work on an “unannounced mobile title within the Call of Duty universe.”
Their website shows open positions for designers, programmers, producers, artists, and other talent. It’s possible that they could be putting together the team that will be working on Warzone Mobile.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that these developers haven’t confirmed that the project they’re working on is a mobile version of Warzone. So, we’ll need to level our expectations until we learn more.
Once again, unless a full, story-based campaign is coming, CoD Mobile already exists, and with Zombies already included, it would naturally have to be some kind of battle royale experience, surely.
News, and even rumors, are still very scarce concerning the potential Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile project right now. But as always, once we start hearing more news, you can read it here first at Charlie INTEL.

Forgotten Cold War weapon is Warzone’s highest K/D Assault Rifle
While Vanguard guns dominate Warzone lobbies, it’s actually a forgotten Cold War Assault Rifle that boasts the highest K/D ratio.
The C58 has almost been forgotten in Warzone Pacific’s Vanguard-heavy meta, but the weapon actually boasts the best K/D of any Assault Rifle.
Vanguard weapons have been dominating Warzone’s list of most popular guns, with everyone keen to try out and level up the brand-new guns. However, YouTuber JGOD recently explained that it’s Black Ops Cold War’s weapons you should be using.
The C58 Assault Rifle burst into Warzone’s meta in Cold War Season 4, but nerfs and new guns arriving means it doesn’t even crack the top 20 most popular anymore. That may change, as it has the highest kill to death ratio (K/D) of any Assault Rifle in the game, and could even retake the top spot.
JGOD pointed out on January 26 that the C58 boasts the highest K/D of any weapon in the Warzone, meaning that players who use it are typically performing much better than those who use other weapons.
Now on January 28, WZ Ranked’s data reveals that the Owen Gun has overtaken the C58 by 0.1, making this Vanguard SMG the highest K/D weapon in the game. The Owen Gun currently holds an impressive 1.35 K/D, while the C58 comes in just behind at 1.34.
While there’s every chance the C58 reclaims its throne, it’s still the highest K/D Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 1. The EM2 is the next best with 1.27, and Vanguard’s Cooper Carbine comes in third with a 1.10 K/D.
JGOD explained that while the EM2 was considered overpowered, the C58 was “a hair worse.” The EM2 got nerfed while the C58 remained untouched, so many didn’t realize that it had become one of the best weapons in the game.
Highest K/D Warzone C58 loadout
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 18.5″ Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: 45 Rnd Drum
These are the meta attachments for the C58, and this specific build has a whoppingly high 1.52 K/D ratio.
The Agency Suppressor and Task Force Barrel increase the C58’s range and damage, making it lethal at a medium-long range. Then, the Axial Arms 3x optic offers the perfect level of magnification to hit these far-off targets.
The Field Agent Grip will keep the C58 steady, and the 45 Rnd Drum gives you enough bullets for all your battle royale needs.
