Furious Dr Disrespect calls on Warzone devs to finally remove trucks
Streamer Dr Disrespect has never been shy about expressing his unfiltered opinion about Warzone, and he’s once more called on Raven Software to remove the Big Bertha trucks from the game.
Big Bertha trucks have long been a problem in Warzone Solos. With their huge health bar, they’re tough for an individual player to take out, and it’s easy to hop out of them at full speed for a quick and easy kill. In the final circle, you’ll often find several trucks driving in a convoy, making the endgame feel more like Need for Speed than Call of Duty.
This has led to Raven Software teasing that they’re removing the trucks from solo matches, but Dr Disrespect demonstrated why they’re also a problem in squad modes.
While chasing a 40 kill game with his regular duo partner Zack “ZLaner” Lane, Dr Disrespect had a few frustrating run-ins with the controversial Big Bertha trucks, but his irritation boiled over after a team utilizing the trucks cost them the game.
After ZLaner goes down, Dr Disrespect is holed up in a building at the edge of the zone with two Big Bertha trucks circling him and blocking his rotation. Doc goes to a window to challenge a truck driver with his AMAX, landing shot after shot on the driver’s seat. Although his aim is right on target, only one in every few shots land, so the Big Bertha drives away and the driver of another truck hops out and kills Doc.
Enraged, Dr Disrespect went on a rant about how much of a problem Big Berthas are for the game.

“What a stupid f*cking game,” he ranted. “If I’m a developer and I’m watching this and this is the end, we’re going to have a meeting tomorrow morning on how we can change this completely.”
“The hitbox on them is ridiculous, how much damage they can take, they can just hop in and out,” Doc explained. “And then the guy hops out and kills me. How can I sit here and go ‘Oh shucks, good game!'”
From Raven Software’s tease that Big Bertha trucks would be removed from Warzone Solos, it’s clear they’re aware of the problem. Developers have been on the ball with weapon balance tweaks in Season 3, so perhaps the trucks will also be receiving a balance overhaul in the future.
