A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will release later in 2024, as shown in the reveal trailer. It does not have a date yet, but barring any delays, we should get an announcement confirming the date soon.

We will keep you updated with more information as it’s revealed, so be sure to keep an eye on this page for a release date when it becomes available.

Platforms

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S

The game can be wishlisted across all platforms now, and it’s not currently looking like it will be available on other PC platforms outside of Steam.

Gameplay & story

The video game adaptation of A Quiet Place is an original story inspired by the film series. You’ll take control of a young survivor who is trying to make their way through the well-known premise of this post-apocalyptic world.

In case you don’t know what A Quiet Place is about, though, it’s set in a time when blind alien creatures have taken over the planet – and they kill anyone and anything they can hear. As a result, to survive, you need to make no noise or you’ll be caught.

The game is a first-person single-player horror adventure title, where you’ll need to hide and sneak past monsters while using what you can to distract them. Of course, you need to do all of this without making a single sound.

You have some tools at your disposal, including a flashlight and what looks like a sound meter as shown in the trailer. It also looks like the player character has an asthma pump – which should be an interesting development for gameplay and the story.

Not much else has been revealed about the gameplay yet, but we will be sure to keep you updated as more reveals come out.
