Lords of the Fallen is a souls-like title set to be released on October 13, 2023. With its release date just around the corner, Hexworks has released some details about the title’s development and in-game mechanics.
In a post on their social media platforms, it was confirmed that the RPG has four secret classes for players to unlock. This means aside from the nine starting classes, there are four secret ones, making it a total of thirteen classes in Lords of the Fallen.
However, we already know one of the four secret classes, which is the Dark Crusader. To unlock this class at launch as a starting class, you will have to buy the Deluxe Edition of Lords of the Fallen which costs $10 more than the Standard Edition.
However, the developers have confirmed that you will be able to unlock the Dark Crusader class later in the game if you do not wish to buy the Deluxe Edition. Alongside the Dark Crusader, there are three other classes that are kept secret at the time of writing.
Fans expect that each of these classes is associated with each ending as there are three endings in the game. This would suggest that you might need to complete multiple playthroughs in order to unlock all the hidden classes in Lords of the Fallen.
