Best Concord controller settings for accuracy & movement
SonyHaving the best Concord controller settings can help massively when you need to dominate a lobby and hit your shots in the free-to-play title.
Making sure you feel as comfortable as possible on the sticks is vital in getting the most out of every character and ability in the game, so here are all the details you need.
Best controller settings in Concord
General
- Invert Vertical Axis – Off
- Invert Horizontal Axis – Off
Sensitivity
- Double Press Sensitivity – 4
- Look Sensitivity (Horizontal) – 6
- Look Sensitivity (Vertical) – 6
- Look Sensitivity While Aiming Down Sights (Horizontal) – 4
- Look Sensitivity While Aiming Down Sights (Vertical) – 4
DualSense Wireless Controller Presets
- Left and Right Stick Presets – Default
- Controller Button Preset – Custom
We recommend using the Custom button preset and creating your ideal layout. The default works perfectly fine, but I prefer Crouch and Dodge Current Direction on R3, as it makes it easier to maintain aim when sliding and dodging bullets.
Gameplay
General
- Camera Shake – Off
- Weapon Bob Strength – 0.0
- Center HUD Reticle – On
- Minimap Orientation – On
- Player and Object Outline Thickness – 1.50
Camera Shake can disrupt your aim, so turning it off is essential in keeping your aim nice and steady.
Vibrations
- Vibrations – Off
- Adaptive Triggers Resistance (DualSense Wireless Controller Only) – Off
- Cinematic Dialogue To Vibrations (DualSense Wireless Controller Only) – Off
Strong vibrations can put off your aim, while adaptive triggers can reduce your response time, so we recommend turning these off.
Lastly, we recommend turning Motion Blur off in the Graphics tab, as although this isn’t necessarily a controller setting, it helps visibility which can impact your time to spot and lock onto enemies.
There are no FOV, Deadzone, or response curve options in Concord, but keep in mind that it is currently in beta, so perhaps more advanced controller settings will be available at launch.
