Hypercharge: Unboxed doesn’t have the most complicated of gameplay mechanics but there is room for setting adjustments that can make things easier. On that note, here are our recommendations for the best controller settings in Hypercharge: Unboxed.

Hypercharge: Unboxed lets you jump into the shoes of a tiny action figure and battle waves of corrupted toys. When you aren’t swinging at things with your first or firing pellets at them, you’ll need to build structures to protect the all-important Hypercores.

Juggling all these tasks while managing your health can get hectic, so you’ll need to make sure you’re comfortable with your controller settings to get through missions easily. Landing on the right settings will also help you dominate lobbies in the game’s online modes.

Here are our recommendations for the best controller settings in Hypercharge: Unboxed.

Hypercharge: Unboxed – Best controller settings

Here are the best controller settings for Hypercharge: Unboxed if you’re playing on Xbox or PC:

  • Gamepad Sensitivity: 1.2
  • Invert Gamepad Look Direction – No/ Personal Preference
  • Use Gamepad Acceleration – No
  • Aiming Sensitivity – 0.8
  • Auto Aim Damping – 0.6
  • Auto Aim Strength – 0.5
  • Change Camera – First Person > Right Shoulder
  • Voice Command Input – Left Stick
  • Toggle Sprinting – No
  • Toggle aiming – No

As seen in the settings above, we’ve slightly bumped up the sensitivity across the board which offers a smoother experience during combat. The Auto Aim values provide a snappy lock-on while ensuring you’ll feel in control.

The Change Camera setting allows you to switch between the selected modes during gameplay. For this option, we recommend going with the First Person and the Third-person Right Shoulder perspective. The game plays well in both view modes, although we did find the Left Shoulder perspective to feel a bit strange.

Hypercharge: Unboxed also offers the option to edit your Controller layout. However, the default button mapping is easy enough to get the hang of. You can always switch it around and find the layout best suited for you.

Those were our recommendations for the best Hypercharge: Unboxed controller settings. If you’re interested in learning more about the game, check out whether the devs are planning to introduce a Battle Royale mode and the secret behind it going viral online.
