Brock Lesnar removed from WWE 2K24 cover amid ongoing lawsuit

WWE 2K24 is scheduled to arrive on March 8, and many fans have already purchased one of the editions as they eagerly await to discover the new features in detail. The fact that many fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of WWE 2K24 means that an entire community is closely monitoring every detail that 2K Games may release in trailers or posts.
In the February 6 gameplay trailer of WWE 2K24, fans quickly noticed that the cover of the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition had a change related to the controversy surrounding former owner Vince McMahon.
To give you some context, according to Khadeeja Safdar in The Wall Street Journal, former WWE owner Vince McMahon was accused of sex trafficking along with other members of WWE, including executives and some wrestlers.
In that report, the name of Brock Lesnar began to appear within the same controversy. This led to Lesnar being investigated and quickly raised alarms within WWE as Lesnar was an active wrestler for the brand at the time and even had scheduled matches.
2K Games took action and decided to remove Brock Lesnar from the cover of the WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania edition, and instead, the developers decided to simply enlarge the image of John Cena and reposition Triple H. A detail that didn’t go unnoticed by WWE 2K24 fans.
As a result of this, other questions began to arise in the community, mainly questioning Brock Lesnar’s appearance in the game and future editions. However, 2K Games have not yet issued any statement regarding this matter. If they do, we will make sure to keep you informed.
