Can you change your wand in Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy fans are wondering whether they can double back and switch their wand during the game after making their choice. We’ve got all the details of changing your wand in Hogwarts Legacy here.
Hogwarts Legacy is set to become one of the biggest game launches of all time, let alone in 2023. Despite the backlash, Avalanche Software’s Hogwarts Legacy sales are huge, with players wanting to know more and more about the game leading up to its release.
As well as character creation, one of the biggest choices Hogwarts Legacy players will have is the decision of which Hogwarts House they would like to be in, and the kind of wand they’d like to wield.
We know that players can choose their House early, and won’t be able to switch after the decision has been made. With that said, there are many questions regarding a Wizard’s wand in Hogwarts Legacy, as players are wondering whether or not they will be able to change it.
Can I change my wand in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, WB Games have confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy players will not be able to change their wand after the initial choice, and will need to make a new character to change it.
Players will have a choice in which wand they will be using to cast spells in Hogwarts Legacy, but will not get any new wands or be able to choose another during the course of the game.
As many Harry Potter fans will know, the wand chooses the Wizard and there’s no choice for the characters in the books or movies to change, apart from Voldemort’s acquisition of the Elder Wand.
So, with that said, players not being able to change their wand after they have made their decision makes sense and is true to the lore of the story.
