Skull and Bones is a more online-focused PvE game, but can you play it solo? Here’s whether the disputed shores of the Indian Ocean are welcoming for solo players.

You’ll find plenty of things to do in Skull and Bones, from rather peaceful treasure hunting to fighting nasty sea monsters. Some of these activities are tougher than others, and many are part of your endgame gameplay loop as you hit the max Infamy Ranks

Of course, for harder activities, it is better to go sailing with friends in Skull and Bones. But what if you don’t have any friends to tag along with, can you reliably compete as a solo player?

Here’s whether you can play Skull and Bones solo.

Can you play Skull and Bones solo?

Yes, you can play Skull and Bones solo without needing to team up with other players. However, plenty of activities can get very tough when you’re alone.

But still, pretty much everything in Skull and Bones can be done solo. Even the PvP is opt-in, and you can choose to never play it if you don’t accept certain contracts.

Keep in mind that regardless of whether you’re playing in a group or alone, you’ll need an internet connection, as Skull and Bones is an always online game. This is because the game features a shared world, so you’ll meet plenty of live players, on seas as well as hubs like pirate dens. It doesn’t feature a traditional single-player campaign like Assassin’s Creed, either.
